The easy maintenance stuff is relaxing but when you diagnose a driveability issue and fix it, you just relish it. Ive been tracking down an intermittent miss and discovered that one of the coil wires was very loose on the contact (possibly from the accident or just vibration in general) and repaired it and hasnt missed or backfired since. These little things drive us nuts but when you find it you just cant help but  The down side is I have a new carb coming and a monster gy6 performance coil coming that I really dont need. |

I prefer to let someone that knows exactly what they're doing handle the problem.

Relaxing for some. The thing of it is once the bugs are worked out, you have a reliable machine that can be repaired fairly easily by someone with the knack and at a fraction of the cost in parts. (Can we say name brand markup?)

(Can we say name brand markup?) That's why I prefer family ran shops. They actually care about their customers. The big shops will screw you over every chance they get. |

As much as I love working on my scooter, when there was a problem I couldn't figure out the local cycle shop offered to fix it for a six pack of pepsi. Gotta love small businesses. |

howdy, as i have mentioned, i can't even check the air pressure in the tires without major pain and injury potential , so i do as someone above mentioned and drive one of the most reliable known and hope to never break down. if i do , i'll have to ride my credit card home.

I love working on this thing myself! The most important thing I like doing is experimenting and doing something nobody has done before (that i know of). I also dont overkill things I upgrade the best possible way staying SUPER CHEAP!

Keep in mind I do have a sense of fixing important issues but so far my CHEAP mods have saved me every second from future problems.
I love draining the gear oil takes under a minute then changing the oil I use a coffee plastic holder and it drains in the there about 3 minutes. Whole thing is under 5 minute job this has no oil filter just a little metal mesh thing.
