howdy, i have also been told that in a car at least too much oil can soak the nx detector and confuse the fuel mixture computer. whether a cooter with fuel injection might also be affected , i don't know

howdy, i just bought the solar (modular) from bilt at cyclegear for 100 bucks. it has the built in sunshade that you can deploy and stow while wearing it. these are usually 200 bucks but 50% off today. i rode home with it and it was light, quiet, and comfortable. i have bounced the scorpion exo off the pavement with my head in it so thought this a good opportunity to replace it(not me head---) . it is silver grey like my piaggio bv350. i think that is quite a good deal since the hci and vega sell for more and don't fit me as well. one week return policy if i don't like it. i bought a jacket from them a couple weeks ago also 50% off. i intend to just stop by every couple weeks just in case---

howdy, i always like to add some far out possibility so here goes. maybe the load from the lights is so high the engine doesn't have enough power to run at idle with the lights on. or it may be as simple as idle adjust is too low.

howdy, i'm usually ignorant also but i would suggest that what you are saying about no clicking when you push the start button indicates either a fault in that switch or loose connection there or the brake or sidestand relays being at fault. sidestand issue might be found by looking near the sidestand under the scoot for a switch with wires that changes when the sidestand is deployed and stowed. perhaps just pulling harder on the brake lever might solve the problem and if so you could adjust that.

howdy , i can't add to this discussion except i use synthetics religiously since 1975 in everything i own and i wouldn't have done that if i didn't think there was some gain.
the reason for my post is to thank hank for his insightful posts and information links. way to go hank

howdy, having owned a sym, i must say it's hard to go wrong with them as long as you can get service and parts. the dealer i bought mine from went out of business but thankfully i need no work or parts-it just ran.

howdy, was that comparing a different diameter slider to your original, or just a higher weight. i am ignorant on the designations you used and realize probably most know exactly what you are saying.

howdy, i was at a dealer today that has a vega helmet with a light on the back. it can be set to come one when the brake light does or to flash constantly or shine steadily. the base helmet was bucks with the light and optional removeable chinbar as extras. the feller i met and rode there with had open heart surgery the 18th of april and is riding already and looks better than before. tough older fella. lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

howdy, a little about the scorpion exo 900 i have. i use mine only in summer because the venting seems poor. it is very heavy and also much noisier than my hjc. that said, i have impacted the ground with it and shouldn't be using it but still do.

howdy, yup, went last week to see the new star trek. by family aggreement we get together for any new star trek. entertaining but i don't get the tolerance for defiance of regulations in the military. certainly lots of special effects and it's interesting to see such battle action and all the injury sustained is something you cover up with a bandaid.
