Well folks, I decided to skip the Puma Romeo after all, and I did spend several hundred more on the Cali Classic from Sym instead. It runs great, has lots of power, and really goes down the road. I am VERY impressed! It's my first scooter. I hope I didn't make a bad decision. I got it for $2200 out the door (that includes tax, title and license fees). I really hope it works well. I'll post more later as I get a few more miles on her. Thanks Kindly! Attachments:

Looks good! In truth Znen almost ruined Lance due to the problems with the inconsistant quality of their bikes. They are working at rebuilding their reputation with the Sym bikes.

howdy, having owned a sym, i must say it's hard to go wrong with them as long as you can get service and parts. the dealer i bought mine from went out of business but thankfully i need no work or parts-it just ran.
lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken

Actually I think Puma Romeo was a copy of the Honda Joker. As is the Lance Cali Classic and several others. Sym just happens to be made in Taiwan and ranks with Kymco. What sold me on the Sym was the 2 years parts AND labor warranty. Couldn't go wrong! I put about 30 miles on it today, and I have to say WOW! Even in the 106 degree Arizona heat, it is a joy to ride. Starts right up, plenty of power and acceleration, handles really nicely, and stops on a dime. I'm really excited to finish breaking her in. I'm commuting to work with her tomorrow. 12 miles there and 12 miles back. The 12 miles in the morning at 6:00am will be far nicer and enjoyable than the 12 miles back at 5:00pm in 109 degrees. But hey.. that's a price I'm more than willing to pay for 80 to mpg! And a fun little ride!! Why didn't you guys tell me scooters were so damn much fun sooner?!! Ha! ;D Thanks kindly!

I'm sure it's going to be a great scoot. BTW, LOVE the name Cali (of course I just might be slightly prejudice in this area ;D) But why suffer in the heat? www.polarproducts.com/polarshop/pc/Full-Cooling-Vests-c200.htm
