howdy and welcome to the forum. there might also be the possibility of saddle bags with fasteners that pass under the seat thus locking them except for the odd knife blade slicing them off.

howdy, as stated above, none of my scoots have ever quit and left me stranded. they were sym(4000mi),kymco(8000 mi), and two piaggios(over 11,000 miles). i am headed out sunday or monday for a 400 mile jaunt across the desert and back a week later. nary a thought of breaking down. i'll carry a bag of peanuts with me just in case

howdy, yup, i had a hazardous materials endorsement on my commercial drivers license for the last 30 years or so and when i went to renew it , they wanted me to travel a hundred miles and be fingerprinted and identification checked to see if i was a terrorist and i just told them to stick that. so what we have is native born un-terrorists without hazardous material endorsement and illegal aliens with no history now hauling hazardous materials and can't even read english.

howdy , are any of the bulbs not on when the signal to turn is on? sometimes the flasher can be ok but not enough load to make it work. that can also happen if all the bulbs were replaced with leds

howdy, i think you can go to any dealer of scooters or motorcycles and look at a catalogue to see what might fit.

howdy and welcome to the forum.
nice looking scoot. it does look like a windscreen would be appropriate for comfort, but it might not be pretty.

howdy, it may be a good idea to keep a bungee going each way around the trunk so that if it does break off it won't actually fall off while moving.

howdy, i'll respond so you know people are reading it. to me it sounds like that combination of things would indicate the light system doesn't think the key is on or thinks the starter is engaged. something in that automatic on light system.

howdy, i like the idea of people meeting to socialize with scooters as a common interest. if one rode the scooter to the "breakfast club" that seems like an acceptable goal but then i'm a poor rider and don't like to travel with others because i might get behind the scooter and traffic and road conditions and have a problem i wouldn't have had when riding on my own. so i'd say maybe a combination of meeting for breakfast THEN those who wish going for a destination ride somewhere? that way if benefits everyone?

howdy, and tha's why i like these discussions. one almost always sees something to chew over in the mind and can still remain "of the same opinion still" . more power to us.
