Well, they best keep there E15 away from my scooter.. I mean, best not go nationalwide as the best fuel for vehicles.. This would suck.. I use some parts of lawn mowers( fuel filters). Some hoses for automobiles for fuel lines. Don't use the cheap hoses that come with these scooters.

Sounds like a blast...lol.. I think 150cc scooters should not attempt such a feat.. I mean, any air cooled engine( small engine) can't handle open throttle for to long without problems. I rode my 250cc scooter( Helix clone engine and liquid cooled) 120 miles( 40 mile breaks) and it done it fine. But it has a temp guage also to tell if getting hot. It is quite a bit different riding blind..lol.

I was born in 1964, born and raised in San Jose, CA. Moved to Missouri in 1984. It was a cold year, a week straight, it stayed below 0.. So I miss the California life style. Missouri weather is strange- cold in the winter, hot and sweaty in the summer, and Spring and Fall tornadoes. Scarey and thrilling at the sametime. lol Got to say, I told my father, It gets in some years, 20 below 0. He said, Naw, it does not get that cold.. Sure enough we broke temperature records in the winter of 1984..

Ya Leo, I know what you mean. I can't find all my stuff. LOL.. But I just moved about 2 months ago. So my stuff is probably in the spare bedroom in boxes still. Some in basement too. Oil and gear oil.. One tire needs placing on rear of scoot and other tire is a extra to be placed on after other wears out. It want happy until after winter, due to $4 per gallon propane. That will kill me...

I drew a quick pic of my brake lever. You see where the nut is located between the master cylinder and brake lever. Actually the screw goes through the lever for adjusting. [img src=" i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac203/Charles_Edward_Creswell/001_zps783ca7e1.jpg" src=" http://" alt=" "] Now this screw is not on all Chinese scoots. But if on yours, the screw may need tightening or loosening. Depends if loose or tight. My lever had about 1/2 play, so the light refused to go off when running the engine. So I knew something held the light on. I pushed the lever all the way out and the light would go off. Let go and it would come on. So tightened up the play by turning the screw inward and light went off. With screw in, I than tried pulling in brake lever- light came on. Released and light went off. The screw also tightened play in lever. Note: Rode about 500 miles with no troubles and suddenly the brake light stayed on.

I had a brake light stick on. It was due to a lever being loose. Not the lever itself- meaning don't tighten the lever. But there is a screw outside the lever going into the master cylinder, so when you pull brake lever the screw sinks in and presses on it to signal when light comes on and off. It was not in far enough to tell brake light to come on. So I got the bolt turned in further and fixed problem. At sametime it fixed the loose play in the brake lever. It may or may not be your problem. But worth looking at. Not all Chinese scooters have this type of lever..

Tools and equipment to work on the scooter has become more and more, over the years of owning a scooter. This is not all the tools. There is still the battery charger, jack, and still tools needed like impact wrench. But it takes a collection of tools, oils, ect... to work on it yourself. [img src=" i900.photobucket.com/albums/ac203/Charles_Edward_Creswell/005_zpsd8757961.jpg" src="http:// " alt=" "] What does your tool and equipment look like, to work on your scooter?

The hole you maybe talking about is called a weep hole. It is located near the waterpump on the crankcase. It is there in case something goes wrong with the waterpump, that it doesn't decide to leak into the engine oil. Atleast that is what I was told. It cold be your waterpump has something wrong with it- like needing a rubber seal replaced.

I am used to riding almost year around also. It usually is to cold to ride, anything below 20 degrees. Just too cold- usually cold is also associated with that white stuff. SNOW... Or ice... In the 20's it is cold still, have to worry about wind chill, dressing warmly. Love my full face helmet- keeps the wind off my face. This year, not riding.. Let permit expire- need to take written test again. Rear tire needs changed too. With propane being so darn costly, $400 for 100 gallons, I can't afford to have rear tire changed.. It really sucks.. Next Spring it should ease up..
