That is why our motor home is parked in Yuma AZ for the duration. Riding in shirt sleeves today.

This is a photo along the side of my garage. The truck in the back is a 1 ton and the plow is in the raised position. I can't get the plow truck out to use on the driveway. Never had it build like this along the garage so I didn't worry about moving the truck. Now I know better. The drift in front of the shed that my scooter is in is even higher. It will be awhile before I can get it out.  |

 How many people have had enough of the snow? Born and raised in Detroit, moved to So. Cal. in fall 1965. On one hand, I had enough of snow in '65. On the other hand, I was looking at the picture and sort of miss it. Snow ball fights, snowmen. In summer I picked up gas money mowing grass, in winter I shoveled walks and driveways. |

I was born in 1964, born and raised in San Jose, CA. Moved to Missouri in 1984. It was a cold year, a week straight, it stayed below 0.. So I miss the California life style. Missouri weather is strange- cold in the winter, hot and sweaty in the summer, and Spring and Fall tornadoes. Scarey and thrilling at the sametime. lol Got to say, I told my father, It gets in some years, 20 below 0. He said, Naw, it does not get that cold.. Sure enough we broke temperature records in the winter of 1984..
