Ya, my Bali 250cc scooter has major damage after last weeks storm blew through and knocked my scooter over. It needs a new windshield $40, new inboard $45, new reflector $6, new helmet sheet $25, new mount board $20, new speed cover $20, left and right mirror $25 each, shipping cost $40, Honda said they would fix it at $75 per hr x 4 hrs =$300.. Total is $546... The ignition might need replacing too, because it hit the ground with such force that it knocked the ignition out of its hole and shifted it a inch to the left. If so, the left it is another $60.. The Honda dealer knows little about the Chinese scooters so I sent a bit of information on it with him. Like the body on the Bali 250 is a copy cat of the Honda 250 Foresight scooter. The engine on the Bali 250 is a copy cat of the Honda Helix 250. I gave him also the website to find roketa parts, so he could read and see that I did not exagerate the prices. The insurers know little about Chinese scooters- hopefully this helps them out. Last Sunday was nice, here is Missouri. A bit breezy but warm. I went for a 20 mile ride out on a 55 mph secondary highway. There come a semi over the hill and blew me nearly off the road. lol But for real, it was a blast...  Attachments:

Ya, it was probably someone angry at society again. Killed 3 people and 160 or more injured is not funny. I hope they catch this bomber.. Recalling from history, the unibomber was only caught, because his brother noticed the unibomber letters had a y key fall like his brother. If police had never shown the public the letters, the case would never have been solved. Attachments:

Ya, that was crazy, because if the Russians had attacked, well everything would have been gone anyhow.... About the last comment, ya parents both work today. Don't spend quality time with their families. I was born in 1964.. My parents divorced before I was 3.. My father remarried and divorced my step mother before I was 12. After that my father met a lady only 18 years old and spent all his time with her. So it occured back in the 1960's too, where parents did not care to be with their children. I however moved into my Grandparents home and was raised by them. A much more stable enviroment..lol My Grandfather was born in 1911 and Grandmother 1916...

 I use only the kickstand on my Bali 250. I did that samething, but the kickstand did not give, but the scooter blew over. Broke my windshield..lol... I now make sure to park opposite direction of wind blowing.. Never had it fall again.. Attachments:

It seems Boston had bombs go off, 3 in all, at the Boston Marithon. 2 dead and dozens injured. I can't see why terrorist want to hurt innocent people. I pray for the wounded and hope they catch the responsable..

Ya, I own a Bali 250 scoot. Had to buy a special tool to reach the screw. You want to adjust the carb air flow, when the engine is running.

Who here, recalls doing drills in grade school for a nuclear bomb. Sort of funny, but we use to fall to the floor and crawl under the desk, covering our heads. This was back in the late 1960's when Russia was known as the Soviet Unoin. Sort of scary to think about...

Are you sure the scooter is not reading km verses miles. Most 50cc scoots have a 10 inch tire, which claims one is going faster than they are. So 400 km may only be around 250 miles per tank. Attachments:

I am from Holts Summit MO- 7 miles from Jefferson City... Ride about 5 counties over to visit my son in Marshall MO. Pretty fun ride.. Do art in my spare time when not riding scooter.

I ride a Bali 250cc scooter. I bought it new in 2008. Rode 20 miles yesterday, though it was windy. I love leaning into curves, but yesterday a semi nearly blew me off the road.. lol.... I love hills too. Scooters are fun...

Ya, the art seems to come from you naturally. I draw in many styles and even cubist. Some of the styles are realism, surrealism, cubist, fairy tale stylistic. They are mostly 18 x 24 pictures and some as big as 3 ft x 4 ft. It is fun doing art and scooting too. lol.. I got some 200 pictures. I just love all arts and even copied in small size Albretch Durer prints. He lived around 1490 and was very famous in his time period as was Michealangelo, DaVinci.. I was surprized to see your art on this site. Take care domindart... I do mind art-surrealism..

I done this in Moberly after the bombing of the Oaklahoma bombing- Terrorism in the Heartland 1995.. I am 48 years old today. Thought of the building coming apart, sadness, feds are the eagle, ect..
