I carry certain tools. small cresent wrench- tighten up many bolts straight and phillips scewdriver - body panel 8mm wrench- for valve adjust 17 mm socket- in case rear tire becomes loose. Big socket wrench Little socket wrench Spark plug wrench 10 mm socket- takes off exhaust.. 98% of the time, I will have no problems with the scooter, but that 2% of the time, I will be prepared if something goes wrong. Spark plug fowl out pretty easily. On my Bali scooter it never fowls out.. But like on my friends scooter, a Quinqi, it fowl out spark plugs in less than a 100 miles. Attachments:

I change my fuel lines every 3 years. Inspect hoses once per year. The last fuel line hose purchased was for a car.. Thick and dependable. It is also important to make sure all hose clamps are tight. They may become loose over time. Another thing that leaks fuel, is a bad fuel filter. This is me. My hoses gave me trouble 2 years ago. Leaked 6 gallons of gas out on the pavement.. Made me a tad upset. Gas was about $4 per gallon. Too expensive to waste.. 2 full tanks of gas leaked out. Attachments:

Ya, it should be worn all time.. I wear my full face helmet all the time, but depending on temperature out doors, well I slack up some on all the protective gear. I don't ever ride without some shoes on my feet. A sneaker will some what protect your feet in a low speed accident. The sneaker is not as good as a boot, but not wearing shoes at all or sandles is stupidity. Also shorts and tank tops- again a bit dangerous if you crash. You will get road burn.. I generally wear blue jeans and a jacket. But again it gets hot outdoors in the summer. Been thinking of buying a mesh jacket with protect back gear. Black leather will make ya sweat like a pig.. lol.. Buying new gear from leatherup.com is what I will do eventually.

Debt- we are in debt til the day we die. It does not matter if you are rich or poor, the debt cycle keeps revolving. Say you buy a house, you are in debt. If you buy a scooter on credit, you are in debt. If you don't buy a house, you are renting, thus you are in debt. It is a cycle that can not be broken. Taxes are a form of indebtedness. You don't pay taxes, go to jail and do not pass Go..lol Attachments:

Some people swear by Japanese made scooters. Some say they would never own a Chinese scooter.. Well, if I recall right, the same is said about Harley Davidson. If you don't ride a Harley, well you are not riding a true motorcycle. See, none of these so called companies are loyal to us. Harley Davidson has parts shipped from Asia. Ford, Chevy, GMC, Chrysler, ect.. have parts made all over the world. Why? Because the labor is cheap in foriegn countries and thus, they can make a bigger profit off you. Is this right? No, because we put loyalty in certian name brands. We think they will always be true American products. So when someone says, they will never own a Chinese scooter, remind them that the world is about the almighty dollar and companies don't really care about the people. I own a Chinese scooter because it runs decently and the price is 1/3rd of competitors prices. I want to hang on to all the money I can... Attachments:

I guess, in 1993, me and my tag a long( Dayrel) rode 30 miles in the rain, on a 70 mph highway on 50cc scoots. We rode on highway 63 on the shoulder, which is legal in Missouri. It was chilly out, but we rode anyway. I forgot, we also camped out on scooters and it rained to beat h---.. A thunder storm. We were by this dead tree and all I kept thinking, the tree is going to attact lightning and fall on us.. lol.. But what I meant was, we usually did not ride in the rain.. Occassionally, we had no choice..

I don't ride in the rain.. It is dangerous enough, that we take changes on 2 wheels, watch for cars that might not see us, ect.. I will not compound the chances to be in a accident. I bought new led lights for my windshield- as turn signals- makes safer and other traffic see it easier. Attachments:

I wear sneakers around town and boots out on the open highway. It really depends on what speed I will be traveling.

It is a seat cover I made from vinyl material and leather strips. I bought a hole puncher and cut out pieces, punched holes and placed leather strips in. Sort of easy to make a seat cover. It is a Roketa Bali 250..
