I would say adjust valves every 2000 to 3000 km.. But if running fine and not stalling out or backfiring, well I would wait until you have problems. Why people adjust valves is because it isn't running right. Like another reason to adjust valves, is it might be getting to hot. This would indicate that the valves are to tight and need adjusting if getting to hot.

Well, I know what you mean, JR... I bought a new sticker for my scooter.. $4.51 including free shipping. The shipment is coming from Hong Kong China.. I ordered it on the 3rd of May and estimated time of delivery is the 29th of May - 14th of June. Have to ship it over to America by real ship. lol... Too cheap to pass up on.. The decal was of a blue flame.. 18" x 3.5", and 6" x 1.5".. 2 of each size.. Some things are to good to pass up.

Ya, my State allows them, but only amber, white and yellow-- red is for emergency vehicles. I read the Missouri Statues earlier, because on the package, it warned that in some States, it might not be legal... I don't want continue flashing lights, but more turn signal lighting like I had at the beginning. My lighting is accent lights. Strobe lighting is different. Accent lighting is to make ones vehicle more visable to others.

I agree, that a determined theif will drive up in a pickup and drive off with your scoot. It seems locks in the disks is pretty cool- only way to get my scoot is to carry 330lbs of dead weight. Hard to lift since awkward. Maybe an alarm also would hinder theft.. But still a determined thief will watch your house, get to know when the scoot is there alone and gone, get to know if other vehicles are gone to take it. To stop thieves, you might be best parking in the backyard and buying a german shepard whom would love to chew a new hole in a thiefs pants.. lol..

My budget is sort of tight. I pay a pickup payment, a Honda Rebel payment, own a 250cc scooter that is like new still, house payment, insurance, ect.. So not alot left over after paying the piper.. lol... I might have $50 per month to throw into my Bali 250 in gasoline, after all bills are paid. But $50 will take me almost 800 miles.

Ya, I seen this one website that with approved credit, will sell a 260cc Linhai for $89 per month 0 down. The length of the contract is for 30 months. That isn't to bad.. We bought a new Honda Rebel for $3900( 2009 left over) have a years worth of payments left at $161 per month. Believe Kymco the Downtown 300Li for sale for $5700.. A little high, but the Downtown 300Li will do + mph..
