I bought a new Bali 250 scooter in 2008. Recently, a storm blew through the area, knocked my scooter over and done $550 in damage. Broke the windshield, both mirrors, rear dash board, front body part, reflector, and was to cost $300 for Honda to repair.. I bought different mirrors. The original mirrors had flashers in them. New mirror have nothing, but tighten up better. The light hook ups are still able to connect led lights up. So I bought led lights today and instead of placing on mirrors, well I decided to connect to the windshield. Left signaling will flash on left side of windshield and right on the other side. The flasher box is already connected to the scooter- was there since the mirror flasher wire was there. Attachments:

Online stores, may have to charge sales tax on items sold in 45 States. This would effect the scooter online stores also as well as scooter industry too. This would mean if I purchased a new 49cc scooter, well Missouri would charge me 7% of total cost. What are your thoughts about this? Attachments:

The MC-13-250 scooter is a copy of the Honda Foresight 250.. China did alot of copying. Now I agree that some body parts on the Foresight are different- the headlight is- but most parts will fit on either scooter still. This is what is meant by copy. If the Roketa MC-13-250 was an original, well no parts would fit on another scooter.. Attachments:

That is true.. Parts would cost way more, if a genuine part like Honda. My scooter had major front end damage recently. My insurance company said it came to $559 total damage. That is alot of damage. I wrote down the Roketa site so the adjuster could see what pieces cost to order. A mirror new $25 each, helmet board $20, Windshield $40, reflector $6, ect.. It still adds up..lol... Honda said they would work on it for $75 per hr x 4 hrs= $300... To order a new engine CN250 cost $1800 from Roketa. To order part by part for the MC-13-250 will cost a person over $12,000... Definately don't want to do this...

It sounds like a wire came loose on the instrument panel. I am only guessing, but if the speed cable is tight with I would check the wires to see if one is loose..

Yes, when I called my insurance company to file a claim on my Roketa MC-13-250, I was a little stunned that the Honda Dealership and the Insurance Adjuster knew very little about my scooter. The Roketa MC-13-250 is a direct copy of the Honda Foresight( seen in this pic). The BODY parts on both scooters are interchangable. Length is the same. The Honda Foresight was only sold in Asia and Europe. The Roketa MC 13 250 is not a copy of the Honda Foresight engine. It is a copy of the Honda Helix CN 250 engine. My scooter has Honda parts on it. Honda here in America, knows all about the Honda Helix. Attachments:

My son wanted to by a train horn for his GEO Metro. I can sympathize with you wanting a bigger sounding horn. My 250cc scooter sounds sissified compared to my wifes honda rebel. But I think a blow horn is the cheapest way to get peoples attention and a good laugh. lol

I agree, the newer model looks like it has a smaller trunk. I like the big roomy trunk, to tell the truth. I am going to order one for my wife's Rebel.

Saddlebags will not get alot of things in them. They are for small tool sets, extra bolts and screws, a rain suit, ect.. They are not meant to carry enough to stay at a friends for weeks. lol.. But I have gotten in mine, 3 changes of clothing, food for 3 days like Canned pork and Beans, six pack soda, little Debbies snakes, $40 in wallet for hamberburger, gasoline, ect.. Now I have got enough room to fit this in saddlebags and also a small cooler with milk, lunch meatand soda in it. Sleeping bag, telescoptic fishing pole, and tent go on passenger seat. Bread in trunk. You are not going to bring everything- just basics.. Attachments:

I was wondering if anyone has put on a fancy paint job on Chinese scoots. I see regular paint jobs all the time, but nothing fancy like flames. Japanese scooters have adjustable air shocks and cool paint jobs. They really take pride in their scooters. Attachments:

Ya, I am trying to get my scooter fixed up, after the wind blew it over in a storm last week. Got a $311 check from the insurance company. Already ordered diamond shaped mirrors, a new windshield, new helmet sheet, and new mount board. The mount board is white and my scooter is blue. So glad I got blue paint about the same shade. lol.. Looking into chrome trimming- $14 for 20 feet. Looking and getting 3m arrow turn signals the place on windshield to add safety caution.. $12.. I am glad you are happy with the Jonway 250.. Nice looking scooter..
