JR had a fellow on his forum that was getting rid of his Jonway 250, long story but I was happy to take it. Well I got up at 3:30 this morning picked up a friend and took a trip to get the scooter. We got there just after 9:00, got home at 4:30. Here are a couple pictures of it    I got a set of seals for it and will pull the flywheel off to see if it is just the key, I think I may have one that will fit and if the crank is not damaged, it should be an easy and cheap fix. I just wanted to sat Thanks to Lou for letting me have it. |

I got up this morning and started on the scooter, not good news. I pulled the right side cover off and found lots of bits of metal in the oil and on the flywheel. Looks like I have to pull the motor and go through it.   There were really big chunks in the oil drain pan. |

I am not worried about what I am in it for, I new the possibilities but my personality is one that makes me always think it will be the easiest thing not the hardest. I still think for about $300.00 in parts I'll have it going.

I have a Roketa like that and they are very nice. You will love it once it is going. Looks like a good deal even if you have to do some work on it. Good luck.
