 I foundout that the Honda shop will change tires, so long as you take off the rim.. They have a special machine that changes the tires. Ones that change by hand, take a chance of having their rims bent. I took it too Goodyear and they bent the rim. I rode it a half mile up the road and boom, the tire came loose from the rim and I was traveling 45 mph.. Safety of having a machine do it is much more worth it, than taking a gamble with your life. I also like to be able to tell my scooter from others. Don't run across a lot of scooters like mine, but just in case.. lol So the paint job is pretty important to making unique..

That is a cool paint job.. I like custom paint jobs.. Mine was storm damaged and all I could get the helmet cover in, was white instead of blue. So I incorporated other white areas, added stickers, diamond mirrors and lights to windshield.. ;D Attachments:

I put 200 miles on mine last year and it is a Roketa Bali 250.. They really don't have to many problems, once you get to know your scooter. If it has a overheating problem, well pullover every 50 miles and let it rest for 15 minutes. ;D Attachments:

In Missouri a 49cc scooter is considered a motorized bicycle- so there is no registering nor insuring. I have to agree, $1400 is steep when you can get a new 49cc scooter for half that price.

I got to looking at boots on www.leatherup.com and they actually make a pair of sneakers for motorcycle riders. They are put together with 3 materials- mesh, leather, and durable rubber. Attachments:

Ya JR, the weather is funny. One day 86 degrees and the next, in the low 30's.. Like going through two extremes. lol... It will warm up eventually. Just hard to tell if it is still winter or summer.  Attachments:

Missouri State laws- 49cc scooters is like a motorized bicycle- no registering nor insuring, but must have a valid class F drivers license. Above 50cc is to be registered and have insurance- to operate on streets and or highways, one must pass the class M test. I ride on a class M permit- this is done by passing the written test to obtain a class F permit( a car permit) than one can take the riders permit test( class M). After successfully passing both permits, one can legally ride a motorcycle in the daylight hours and restricted to no passengers. Than renew the permit or permits every 6 months, and ride ride ride.. lol.. Anything larger than 50cc, is considered a motorcycle in the State of Missouri. Failure to register a motor vehicle is $25 per month and not to exceed $200..

I enjoy riding my 250cc scooter to much, to really be interested in a Burgman. Chinese scooter are cheaper and can be decent buys. lol.. Good luck with the sale... Attachments:
