It seems Boston had bombs go off, 3 in all, at the Boston Marithon. 2 dead and dozens injured. I can't see why terrorist want to hurt innocent people. I pray for the wounded and hope they catch the responsable..

For one...think about this...it was not a timer activated explosion..as they would not know at exactly what time the majority would cross the finish line. I had to be set manually..meaning by somebody nearby that could when the large mass crossed the finish line. Just my opinion as I was a Combat Medic for 21 years..now retired. I was with 8th Combat Engineers for 3 years...part of what we did was blow things up..so I have some in depth knowledge on that subject. Case in point...the McMurrah building...there is some bullsh!t to that story. The explosion went one direction and ruined the building..with little no damage to everything around on it or on the other side of rode. Detonations go in 360 degrees...they can't be focused in one...except the Claymore mine. yet that one exploded in only one direction?...  ...hmm Plus it would take more than a truck that size of ANFO to do all that damage.. Just my 2 cents.. |

Typing from a tablet but it looks like they were small bombs one going off a second from the other one. Then another blast at the JFK library building. Keep in mind yes another bomb was disarmed by firefighters after the two went off.
If its a bomb caused by hydrogen proxide they say that means Jihad or Al queta however you spell those people.
Every bomb has its own signature.

At this point other than people being hurt, it being a sad cowardly act and it was a bomb of some kind we know very little. Who, why is only speculation at this point.
Why is the part that I have a hard time with. It doesn't matter to me who because when it is truly found out then IMO there will be no penalty severe enough. I will nor do I care of who's cause, these people today did nothing to no one and are innocent victims.
We can talk all we want, and indeed this doesn't need to turn into a political discussion but to me one thing is clear, whoever did this was making a statement for something and IMO the statement has no humanity to it nor should it go unpunished. It's time to quit listening to the cries of justice for the guilty and start taking up for justice for law abiding people and innocent victims.
Some people may call me harsh and they have that right to that opinion and all by our system are due the process of law but when that process takes place justly and correct then it's time to administer the sentence to the crime and whoever did this IMO needs to make peace and bear the punishment.
But at this point again we know very little so lets think about all the people who need help and hope that no more suffering to blasts or bombs occurs.

Just my 2 cents.. The area was broadcast live on TV and I think Webcast...could have rigged it to a cell phone & fired it from just about anywhere in the area. Then again...there was a 3+ hour window with a more or less steady stream of runners crossing the finish line. The timing wouldn't have to be THAT precise. |

Did it blow up with a mass of people in the area? Yes. Very crowded. Bombs designed to kill people, not blow up buildings. Reports say the loads were packed with ball bearings for maximum casualties as the bearings turn into projectiles at the point of the blast |

Yeah, me too. One of the first reported dead is an 8 year old :/ Apparently many had legs blown and ripped right off as the bombs were placed low to the ground, and the explosion moved low along with the ball bearings |
