I have a 2008 Roketa MC54B-250 (257) purchased new in '08. It now has almost 10,000 miles and 5 yrs of great riding. I have added HID's, Manual choke, LED's, recovered seat (My work). I look forward everyday on riding my scoot to work and enjoying the ride. It was dropped shipped to me and the forums have been a great help in keeping it safe and ready to ride. We are here to help in any way to solve any probs you may have.

It was snake skin material and Bing, Google will bring up some places to purchase the material. 1 1/2 yds will be plenty. Went back to the orginal Scootdawg site to try and find the post, but with no luck.

I installed a manual choke on my scoot and have loved the way the scoot reacts. I don't have any problems with idle when cold. I have 9500 miles (Chinese Miles) and all I have had to do is adjust the idle to compensate for the choke. Life is Good....

A couple of months ago....the R/R gave up the ghost on my scoot. I had rear turn and stop, but no running lights. The battery was not charging at all. I had installed a volt meter last year and it showed no charging. My scoot takes a 6 wire R/R, being a MC54B Roketa with the 257 cc engine. I ordered a new R/R and that fixed my prob. The volt meter shows 13.1 going down the hiway at 60, with everything running. I had installed HID's a few yrs back and LED's for stop and turn, all was good. So you might have a R/R prob. Life is Good...
