You may want to check the temperature sending unit on the radiator, to make sure the wires are connected. The Chinese coolant may have caused your thermostat not to open.
With the radiator cap, which is not on the radiator, off, you should see coolant flowing when the thermostat opens.

Not sure which engine you have...but the 257cc Linhai the intake is .004 and exhaust is .006. It will make a difference on how the engine performs and idles.

It looks like to me if the gas cap needed a hole, the manufacturer would have drilled one. There are other probs besides the gas cap. I live in the hills and I have yet to use WOT. Keep checking and you will find the prob. Just remember an engine is an airpump and having the valves close and the rings seal make for a sound airpump.

May I ask what are your blow drying on the scooter....kinda strange.....it is not that hot, I'm in Texas and it does get hot here.. I have no probs....keep trying and maybe you will find the culprit....enjoy your ride...Which engine do you have...the 244cc Honda clone or the 257cc Yamaha clone....  |
