I tried to shoot a video, I could not get the shot of the flywheel with the timing light. John John...well which one is it on your website?

Alley got it from me, as long as it will last we are so far trouble free. I'm using that cdi as well. I would have to check the date of the post to tell you how long it has been. I would guess less than a year. John John..sure would like to know which CDI it is. Using a timing light I have only found one that truly advances..and the company has been out of them for 3 months. The other so called "Performace CDI's' showed a linear advance all through the rpm range..that being 8-12 degrees constant..from idle to WOT.. No advance curve..just straight up 8-12 degrees at all times.. That much advance at idle made the Scoots difficult to even start..

Do you have the same engine ? or are you running a different engine, Different engine, different specs different results I just ordered my self a big bore kit minus the cylinder head for like 78$ off of ebay and it is due here with in the next tree days i sent the ebay seller a message asking with no response this kit does not come with a head (CK05) kit off ebay i need to know tonight if i have to buy a Milled type of cylinder head for 39.99$ (witch i REALLY don't have at this point lol) IF i want the kit and the head to arrive at the same time that is lol Wow that price with no head? This a better deal and I buy many for customers Scoots. Talk about power and high quality too! It is an EXACT clone of the Hoca BBK..right down to exact port sizes and port timing.---> www.ebay.com/itm/181114468307?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I have several different CDI's . Did you want a fixed cdi or did you want a variable timing cdi ? John Which variable timing ones do you have? All I find in 'performance' CDI's...including the ones they call 'advancing angle'....are pure rubbish. Everyone has hindered the Scoot..so the stock cheapie goes back in the Scoot.

The chain saw dude is absolutely right. You leaned it out by replacing fuel with oil and though it had plenty of oil in ran so lean it seized. Very common mistake don't feel bad like gatekeeper says it doesn't seem right but it is. No matter how much fuel you added to the fuel air mix it was never enough because there was just too much oil in the way. Build it again and just let the pump do its thing. Take it easy first couple tanks but the last thing the motor needs is the extra heat while breaking in. When you soft seize it is your bike screaming at you that something is very wrong... Thanks Rob...does kinda make sense. It runs like a champ all day...but as soon as I hit WOT for even 2-3 seconds..you can feel it start to seize..even with a massive jet. @ Kevin...mine won't even run with a jet that size..it just gurgles and slobbers gas. I did use the #45 pilot jet..vice the stock one...sure smoothed out the low end and idle.. But top end kills my new BBK's everytime..

Tried clutch springs and sliders ? ramblinman..tx.. ;D kevin..got 1.5k clutch and contra springs...it still screams way to high. Thinking it needs gearing...just not sure if the 9.65:1 is gonna be too much over the stock 11.07:1 and unable to pull it..

Not really a 2 stroke guy but that doesn't sound valid to me. If it was the case wouldn't you be able to richen it up with the mixture screw? I did richen it up jet wise... I ran a #105 main jet in it..and I have been using the stock air box...still soft seized with the massive #105 Jet...

Is this even feasible or plausible? Ok ..I have a 2T that soft seized 4 times..then finally died from all the soft seizues. Compression was about 60psi. The oil pump failed so I replaced it with a Mikuni..bought a new 50cc top end and ran some 32:1 premix in it to be safe..and to check flow from the new oil pump. New pump flowed well..but to be on the safe side I ran 2 more tanks of 32:1 in it..along with whatever the oil pump puts out. So 32:1 plus the 40 or 50:1 the oil pump puts out. This is a stock 50cc with a Tecnigas Next R pipe and #82.5 Main jet. 4 more times it seized until it killed the new top end. A 'Shade Tree' Chainsaw mechanic down the road that owns a tree removal business told me the soft seize was from lack of fuel. Said the premix along with the pump was putting me about 16:1..and with that much oil it was taking the place of the gas..causing me to run lean on fuel...hence the soft seizes. Is this possible and true? Anybody seen or heard of it? Just ordered my 3rd top end a few minutes ago..this is getting ridiculous and expensive. Lean runs?? when the #82.5 main jet is massive for a stock 50...I am Confused..

Gearing question..My Adly 2T comes with 12X36 secondary gears...making my final ratio 11.07:1. The next closest 'up gears' I can find are 13X34...which will give me a 9.65:1 final ratio. That being a 14.75% ratio increase. Does that sound too steep for a Hoca 70BBK...# Jet with Tecnigas Next R pipe to pull? Right now it will go from 0-55mph in the length of a Football field...once it comes up on the pipe about 25mph..from there to 55 is merely a few seconds. I know I would lose acceleration possibly...but should get better top end. Or...does this ratio seem to steep? Glenn

Does anybody make a common type scooter BA20d base LED bulb that has high and low beam?.. Also what is the part number or link to the Radio Shack Bridge Rectifier so the bulb does not have to run off of AC? Thanks, Glenn

DX They are so you can mix and match..to find the optimal rotating mass(total roller weight) that your scoot needs. Make every other one a diff weight...i.e. 5gram..7gram...5gram 7 gram etc. Say yours runs best with 3.. 5 gram and 3... 7 gram. Total weight is 12 grams. Divide this by 2 and you get 6 grams..so you would order a 6 gram set of rollers or sliders and your scoot should be dialed in..

Anybody know about how long Racing Planet shipping time is? Nearly all overseas vendors take 2-3 weeks before I get the items I order.
