Gearing question..My Adly 2T comes with 12X36 secondary gears...making my final ratio 11.07:1. The next closest 'up gears' I can find are 13X34...which will give me a 9.65:1 final ratio. That being a 14.75% ratio increase. Does that sound too steep for a Hoca 70BBK...# Jet with Tecnigas Next R pipe to pull? Right now it will go from 0-55mph in the length of a Football field...once it comes up on the pipe about 25mph..from there to 55 is merely a few seconds. I know I would lose acceleration possibly...but should get better top end. Or...does this ratio seem to steep? Glenn

No input?.. That is typical for every thread I start.. you started the thread late at night for most members here and then bumped it first thing in the morning. give'em time to respond, they may not have seen it yet. this is the first time i have seen the thread... unfortunately i don't have the answers you're looking for but i can help by bumping your thread to the top. edit: plus you gotta figure only a handful of members can even answer that question... maybe less, idk.

Tried clutch springs and sliders ? ramblinman..tx.. ;D kevin..got 1.5k clutch and contra springs...it still screams way to high. Thinking it needs gearing...just not sure if the 9.65:1 is gonna be too much over the stock 11.07:1 and unable to pull it..
