Thanks everyone. I chose one person to give results. I sent that person a PM. After the results if everything is good i will do a little contest to give out a couple of these to people Thats Great! I always win contests! Only winners in my family! Remember, If your not a winner, your a loser! If your not in 1st place, your in last place! If I wanted my kids to be wussies, we would have named them Dr. Quinn and the Medicene Woman!

[replyingto=doublert]doublert[/replyingto]Would the Taida 63mm head on scooterelements be a good head to go with? Or the big valve head from scrappys? I just want the best to go with.

looks like he has all the other mods to compliment the bbk, it should be a good build Yea, I have the Two Bros. Exhaust, and pod filter with K&N. I think I have the stock jet in the carb now, but I do have a 112.5 jet to put in it still......

get a few extra base gaskets for the stroker crank I'm getting the 6mm stroker crank kit from ScooterElements, it says that it comes with cylinder spacer? Does that mean that I'll need more base gaskets?

Ok, my brother did a bbk on his 50 vip, now I'm ready to cook up something for my Peace 150 dash (like vip). Here is whats on my list so far: Taida 61mm bbk forged piston, Taida 63mm head, Taida 6mm stroke crankshaft kit, A-10 Cam. I guess that's about it so far. I'm gonna order my stuff from ScooterElements, Walt seems to be a nice guy, and helps everyone out here so....anything else that I need to go on my list? Wonder what kind of differences I'll notice? Thanks everyone, Randy

I have been all over looking at prices for scooter parts as well. Scrappys is good, ScooterElements, MonsterGy6,etc. I have ordered parts from each of them and shipping was fast too. Although as far as price comparison between the 3, they vary a little bit. ScooterElements offers free shipping I believe. Ebay is also a good place for the cheapest deals and free shipping on alot of parts. I had to order a main jet for my carb. yesterday on eBay cause all 6 of the scooter shops in my whole county didnt have anything.

[replyingto=doublert]doublert[/replyingto]OK, so after calling all the scooter shops today nobody has bigger main jets than the stock sizes, half of them didn't even have jets. So I ordered some off eBay a while ago, I went with the Keihin 112.5 jet. Now maybe I can nail it wot and it won't bog down on me. We"ll see........

I've been trying to upjet myself. Before I order some jets off eBay or Scrappys, or MonsterGy6, I was trying to get some from the nearest scooter shops to give them local business. I called 6 scooter shops and nothing. People wonder why eBay and internet is taking away from their business! "we dont have it, but we can order it for you"? I can order whatever I want too by myself! I tried calling all the local scooter shops in my County a few weeks ago for rollerweights, and 1 shop 22 miles away had some 11gram Dr. Pully Sliders for 55$ that is insane! I will not be supporting local shops anymore! In fact, me and my brother are wanting to start our own business here in our own town, where there is no scooter shop, parts, or accesories, etc.

Just for general clarity the OP asked for specs on the wrong way wanted to make sure everyone knew you were answering with the appropriate value in a usable form... Sorry, my brother torqued his to 180psi broke part of the mount, which im guessing he thought lbs. he got confused. He got the info from the old site scootdawg. He broke part of the rocker arm box from torqing it down that tight. I'll be sure to tell him 17-20 lbs foot pounds..... Thanks, Randy

[replyingto=doublert]doublert[/replyingto]Okay, I just read that from the garage on page 3 about the cam. I didnt look at the cams side by side, but was going by what my brother told me. Apparently you cant just eye-ball the cams and see the difference. I feel like a frick'in IDIOT! (Napoleon Dynamite). Well at least we know there is a difference than stock. I think everyone should read what carasdad posted.

My brother put his BBK on his vip 50 the other day, it came with an A9 cam. He put them side by side and measured them both, and the stock cam and the A9 came are both the same. Now hes really pissed cause he has to buy another cam, maybe an A10 or 12 or something. This is not the first time that I have heard or read about the A9 cam. Other people have even mentioned that in fact, they are the same cams. Kinda like the Orange so called "performance coils" are just the stock coils just made Orange from the factory in China.
Maybe I could paint my stock parts a different color, and call it aftermarket and Performance, and sell them on eBay and mark the price up 30% more!!!
