Here you go... www.unifilter.com/accessories/Scroll down to 'Filtered Air Vents.' I bought them to put in place of holes I drilled in my airbox. When I noticed my CVT inlet cover was missing it worked great. edit: But now that I actually clicked on your link they won't work for you. I didn't know they came in the oval shape like yours.

(it occurs to me, we have strayed WAY!!!! off topic here, haven't we? From a vid showing you hit 73mph, to steaks and ice cream. I wonder what any unwary viewer of this thread ends up thinking?) >'Kat After reading through all of this I am now convinced there is some secret scooter wormhole at 73mph. I must upgrade.

Are we invoking the slippery slope argument with scooter registration? What is it that you fear may be next?

^^ That sounds great, but I'd rather not have the government create a national registry. They can't run anything efficiently and would surely muck it up.

It depends where you are. Many scooters, such as mine never shipped without a title. In VA you can take the bill of sale you received form the seller with an 'Application For Title' to the DMV and get a title for $20. Neither expensive nor labor intensive.

Yes we do. The whole point of disassembling it was to adjust the needle. Come to find out it wasn't even adjustable...

I thought of fashioning something myself. Placed a washer under the spring cause thats all I had and that didn't work. Although the links didn't work you pointed me in a direction. Whenever my power comes back on I'll do some searching there

I was tinkering with my carb yesterday for no good reason... and when I was re-installing the diaphram I lost the piston spring seat. The carb is a Kei Hin PD19J and it is the little plastic piece that fits in the bottom of the spring. It is no where to be found. I've googled the interwebs and I cannot find a place that sells parts. I know I may not be able to buy just that piece and i may have to buy the entire diaphram unit, but can any one point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Sorry for the tangent, but why would just the headlight blow? Would the other bulbs not be receiving the same voltage?

I do not have 'ABS' and I have never come close to locking up the front brakes. Do as Alley said and remove the valve and hook your brake line directly to the calliper.

We can talk about the printing on the belt all day, but we'll never know if its any good until you use it
