I was tinkering with my carb yesterday for no good reason... and when I was re-installing the diaphram I lost the piston spring seat. The carb is a Kei Hin PD19J and it is the little plastic piece that fits in the bottom of the spring. It is no where to be found. I've googled the interwebs and I cannot find a place that sells parts. I know I may not be able to buy just that piece and i may have to buy the entire diaphram unit, but can any one point me in the right direction?
Thanks

I thought of fashioning something myself. Placed a washer under the spring cause thats all I had and that didn't work. Although the links didn't work you pointed me in a direction. Whenever my power comes back on I'll do some searching there

Never found a good match for the slide for my Lance except for what I could get from Lance. Learned not to tinker and to make regular use of fuel system cleaner in the fuel tank rather than let things go so far that I had to disassemble the carb for manual cleaning.
We all do many time shoot ourselves in the foot don't we.

Yes we do. The whole point of disassembling it was to adjust the needle. Come to find out it wasn't even adjustable...

That variability in the slide of the Denki Slide carburetor clones out there is what makes matching up parts for the exact flavor you have sometimes impossible. Get a bright flashlight and start searching for that part as steel washers will usually be too heavy and will throw things off kilter due to their weight. You may have to throw in the towel and just buy a complete new carb if you can't find a good match on the slide.

you can usually adjust the needle. I've used #4 washers on four wheeler and motorcycles to lift the needle up.
