i ordered a scooter from superiorpowersports.com, the MCO came the day after my scooter was delivered with the wrong VIN. i used their website to request a new MCO entering the correct VIN. i have no idea if they received that information though. i've tried emailing them, i've tired using online chat and i have tried calling and get no answer (yes all during business hours). this has been going on since friday, i'm seriously thinking of doing a chargeback. this scooter is worthless to me without the MCO.
frustrated... give me some advice please.

less than an hour? you getting good at this. will it go back together just as fast? one last question if you would; besides special tools what do you need to purchase to replace the crankshaft? if i'm not mistaken i know you need oil seals, case gasket and crank (obviously). anything else? does all that come with the crank or purchased separately?

here is a closer shot. this is the first side i did, i messed up in a couple spots but overall it's an improvement. learned from doing the first one and this side turned out much better.

using another members idea i bought some 3D carbon fiber wrap to hide some damage on the trim. also installed new tail light assembly. it's hard to see from this angle but the old taillight was held together with duct tape. the left side was in pieces. sorry i don't have too many before pics. i'm happy with the way it turned out. if it didn't add value it will certainly make it easier to sell. i still need to install the new mirros, i'll do that another day. before after

it turns over, just needs gas and i should have it running. took me about an hour to install the mirrors yesterday. nothing was lining up, ended up cutting away some of the plastic. pulled the cvt cover to inspect the kick start and wrote down the belt size. kick start is broken and the cover is warped. had a hard time getting it off and going back on was even harder. hopefully the heat will help it bend a little so it fits better. really starting to understand why so many don't have good things to say about Chinese scooters.
hopefully i can get a year out of this scoot with minimal repairs. probably be my last china bike, gonna save for something better constructed.

vin# doesn't match paperwork. probably should have checked that 2 days ago, oh well. guess it's going to take an extra week to get this thing registered.

just got home from work. i really want to start working on my new scoot but have to be back to work in less than 10 hours... sigh, off to bed for me. i'll have most of the day friday so hopefully i can complete the pdi then. i won't have the money for plates until tuesday unless i sell the atm50 so i'm in no real hurry but obviously want to get it done sooner than later. actually, i think i will apply for the title and plates before i sell my 50 just incase i have any problems i don't want to be without transportation.

...I'm guessing, but does the problem have to do with the roller weights? that would be my guess also. most-likely one or more weights have turned on its side.

check the cvt cover for any wear/skid marks. i haven't had this problem so i don't know how to fix but at least you will know where the belt is coming in contact with the cover. if it is contacting at the variator then maybe go back to rollers and a new belt and see if the belt is fine after a few miles.

roadrunner transportation can't even manage to deliver with a 4 hour window scheduled 5 days ago. was suppose to be here between 9-1, just called and asked if 1-5 or tomorrow would be better. neither are acceptable but tomorrow is impossible so i continue to play the waiting game... wanted to get this thing out of the crate while i still had daylight. guess i will be doing it in the dark and then off to work with little to no sleep. think i'll pay the dealer fee and get it locally next time. i have no patience and little time to deal with delivery.

Congrats on passing! How'd you do with the U-turn/figure 8 part of the riding test? >'Kat thank you, Kat... the figure 8 was definitely the hardest part of the entire class. during practice i put my foot down twice and went outside the line three maybe four times. the instructor stopped me twice and kept telling me to turn my head more and look back to where you want to go. it felt awkward trying to look behind me but once i did it was actually a little easier to make the maneuver. when it counted i made the first turn with little problem and the second turn my tires ran on top of the line. not even sure if they penalized me for that but i passed so whatever. not like i am ever going to do a figure eight on the highway, at least i don't think. lol

i just got the MCO doing a quick search of the model # it looks like they are sending me something completely different than what i ordered. not going to be happy if it isn't the one i ordered. i spent a lot of time picking that one out. i'll know for certain when it arrives tomorrow. ordered this: ifutureweb.com/superior/moreimages/RK150SC-23/RK150SC-23-5.jpglooking at the paperwork they sent this and it's a 2012 model: image.ec21.com/image/joeking200/OF0001745594_1/Sell_Scooter_Motorcycle_YY150T-12.jpgnow that i am looking at the pics together i guess it isn't all that bad. i did like the headlights though. i guess as long as it works perfectly after a pdi then i won't be too upset. still wish they would have contacted me first. purposely sending me the wrong item just to get rid of old stock is really lousy.
