i just got the MCO doing a quick search of the model # it looks like they are sending me something completely different than what i ordered. not going to be happy if it isn't the one i ordered. i spent a lot of time picking that one out. i'll know for certain when it arrives tomorrow.

aced the classroom test. multiple choice is really easy. should have time and money to add the endorsement to my license next week when i apply for the title on my new scooter.
riding that rebel yesterday has me looking at motorcycles. if i can find a reasonably priced touring bike with lots of storage i will seriously consider the purchase. time to start saving again.

day 1 complete. i thought i was going to be stuck in a classroom before we got to ride but i was pleasantly surprised to see the instructor pulling out numerous bikes from a storage trailer when i arrived. picked a honda rebel and within an hour i felt more comfortable on this bike than my atm50. getting back on my scooter at the end of the day was the only bad experience.

i can't wait to see what you do with this bike. my grandfather took me for a ride on his Goldwing when i was 8. (or 10, 11. somewhere around there) if i ever buy a motorcycle i want it to be a Goldwing. that bike sails over the pavement.

i don't know John. i got rid of my phone service with T-mobile years ago to go with a tracphone since i can get by with 100 minutes per month. tracphone set up was easy and fast. T-mobile might have took 15 minutes and they had phone behind the counter.
i never buy insurance unless i am forced by the government.

very nice! wish i had the knowledge to do electrical work. i just replaced my burned out headlight with the same cheap 35w bulb hoping since it was new that it might be a little brighter but nope.
someone should start a scooter electronics school for dummies. i'd pay to attend those classes.

The paperwork arrived shortly after. I got that a week later just request it immediately after the bike is delivered. Thanks to Bobcats knowing that my state required it to be notarized, I was spared a lot of grief when I went to register it. i think florida requires MCO to be notarized also. unfortunately superiorpowersports charges a $30 fee for this service. they emailed me that they already sent it. guess i will have to request it again when my scooter arrives wednesday. thanks for the info. |

as promised, my new stock 50cc exhaust arrived today. return label included and discovered a special bonus. sent me a motorcycle cover. it will get a lot of use on my new scooter. very happy the way he handled this problem.  |

It has serious problems, it has huge miles, or it's hot! meh idk, blue book says $2,465 trade in value. if it is the abs version then $2,835 so $2,500 really not too far off imo. |

they just called to schedule delivery. said the earliest was wednesday, little surprised it will take that long for them since it is already at the terminal but whatever, wednesday actually works out good for me.  |

Have you checked the function of your stator and rectifier? That is where I would start. I second that, especially the rectifier! what they said... lights getting brighter just before burning out sounds like the rectifier. |

my crate arrived at their Miami terminal. sure hope they send it out for delivery today. i have the day off so no worries about missing the driver. also got email from superiorpowersports, they mailed the MCO. i thought i needed to give them the vin# and request it.  looks like i will have everything taken care of by tuesday night except plates. only thing stopping me from riding my new scooter come wednesday is money. might have to put a rush on selling the atm50 otherwise i'll just have to wait another week. |

i'll have time to work on it tomorrow if i need to pull the carb. i don't know what problem could occur with gas on the crankshaft and i really don't want to find out. i'll be selling this scoot soon enough anyway but would like to know i'm selling a problem free scoot. probably change the oil again when the new petcock arrives.
