I may be wrong but I haven't seen a 50cc or 150cc or whatever scooter made by BMW & Mercedes!! Most do not know this but I have friends in the car business and the different oil companies make deals with the car dealers to push certain types of oils and or products, they get a kickback, same holds true with prescriptions doctors push that is a well known practice. It is called YOU SCRATCH MY BACK I WILL SCRATCH YOURS Alleyoop

HAHAHAHA, the old oil saga again, that is like asking someone what beer do you drink, everyone has their favorite and their own opinions. Oils just about every brand will have a website telling you why theirs is better it is all about pushing their brand. Just buy a good known brand whichever one you like and just make sure you routinely change it whether its every 500 or 1000 miles. They only take about 3/4 of a quart so after 3 quarts you have a free oil change Alleyoop

Each end has a connector One by the throttle and one by the carbs bracket You Cannot Trim either end. What he needs is the actual cable ends to be sticking out longer He just got the wrong one. Doesn't matter if he goes straight the cable part sticking out are to short. Alleyoop FIND YOUR CABLE: www.partsforscooters.com/All-Scooter-Parts/Handlebars-and-Controls-Cables

Sorry I thought maybe the cleaning it out and blowing it out would make it work, but since it is a sealed unit replacement is all you can do But then again where do you get one is the question. Only other thing to do is try and call the ones that sell the scoots. Alleyoop

Those pad arms where not poured as one piece they are made of pieces of metal and sandwiched together those are the lines your seeing. Actually those are much stronger than the forged ones. But is not what broke off what partly broke off is the piece where the clutch material is glued to. Alleyoop

Well your stator is putting out fine so it has to be the R/R, or did you by chance put in bigger headlight bulbs? Or you have something wired wrong. If you test the wire from the R/R and it is not putting out 13+ volts to the battery then you have a bad R/R pretty straight forward guy. So test the wire from the R/R going to the Battery to charge it and tell us what it reads. If it is putting out then you have a wiring problem.

If it only charges at high rpms I have to say the R/R, either that or you have a really bad drain, which would be bad ground some place. Alleyoop

Just keep this in mind the weights in the variator work with centrifugal force(how fast the crank is turning) so if putting in a BBK lowers your RPMS you will have to put in little heavier weights to get the belt up as high as before the change. Same applies to the Clutch springs the clutch pads get thrown out to grab the bell to turn the wheel by centrifugal force. If you want the scoot to start moving with higher rpms then you put in little stronger springs on the Clutch pads. Think of it as cars with a clutch, you put in the clutch to disengage it from the flywheel and then give it a little gas to get the rpms up then release the clutch and you may squeal the tires(HAHA).
It's a balance with the CVT tuning weights, clutch springs and pulley contra spring and all driven by centrifugal force, how fast the crank is turning. Alleyoop

Hard to tell but you may want to check out the Clutch Pad arms, some are known to break. Or it could be parts of the inside of the CVT casing itself If you have a kickstarter.
Picture of the CVT with the cover off would probably tell if its part of the casing itself.

What do you mean if arrived with the exhaust valve closed?? All heads come with the valves closed its the Rocker Arms and cam that opens them and you have to adjust the valves after putting the cam in and rocker assembly?
