www.newser.com/story/190961/112-year-old-ham-still-edible-museum.htmlUse to be involved with HAM operators that would run modded SSB CB radios but it has been 40 years since then. They do tell me that HAM Radio may be the only communication available besides a messenger traveling on foot to personally pass information on during a disaster. Think tubes and non-digital electronics.

Think tubes and non-digital electronics. Or operate your mobile ham radio from and old school points and condenser ignition bike modified to run on some sort of biofuel. Again, no fragile electronics. Only way to go in a post apocalyptic world.

I first got my radio license in 1988. I have participated in storm spotting nets etc. I was in Lancaster Texas the night it was hit by a tornado. The things I saw that night freaked me out.
But I was really just trying to see if any other of you scooter guys also had a Amateur Radio License like me.
