Measure the shaft if it's the same Pull the gear of your old crank The gear puller at harbour freight should be fine for that

You don't want to run a heavier torque spring unless you've got belt slipping. You don't have the horse power waste on excessive belt tension Just use liter than stock veriator sliders It does the same thing but with more power to the wheel Try to get your clutch to grab just before or the same RPM as the veriator starts to climb and that should be at a about 6000 RPM for best launch Using light weight sliders does NOT reduce top speed. But worn out belts and veriators do Light weight sliders do however use more gas until the variator maxed out but then it's all the same You know when your veriator is maxed out as RPM will start to climb

A new motor is about 200 to 250 $ If you have a bit of time and some tools A complete rebuild is around 140 $ Or A junk yard is a good place to find a good crank with a frozen top end that's an EZ way to go if you have a new jug and head to swap

some of the scooters have poor placement of electronic components. Sounds like the old CDI was getting hot. You may want to move the new one to a cooler spot something nice and breezy

A lot of you are going to cringe when you read this. But you can DIY your drum to round Take a set of old used up pads and glue 400 G sandpaper to them Cote with old motor oil before mounting Set the bike on its center stand and run the brake just hard enough so you can hear the sand paper start to rub Your going to change the paper a number of times before you get something resembling true And I recommend a new bearing for the output shaft and new oil for the gearbox after Just to be safe

You ever try filling a big party balloon with oxy acetylene mix it's better than nox while it lasts Which is a about 20 seconds

Thinking about your set up ... If more fuel is better WHEN you hit the nox but you still want to run efficient at normal operation Try a propane tank
With the small amount of nox available form a tiny little bottle like that consider a very short run of hose Maybe a foot switch?
Any way looks like your having fun with it

You can make a cheap easy and reusable gasket out of thick copper wire Cut a ring a little smaller than the recess in the head anneal the ring to make it soft and flatten it out until it's just barely to big To fit then sand the gap where the cut is until it fits Sanding the gap is important as it helps to prevent leaks. File out any hammer marks and re anneal the ring. To reuse just anneal

Carbon and Kevlar dust will just cake the inside of a cover. That stuff is abrasive and it turns your bearing grease into mud. All of the drive line components last longer without the cover. The clutch becomes practically immortal. The only bad parts are loss of the kick start and some minor difficulty with rubbing of the center stand. As far as safety goes. DON'T STICK YOUR DAMN FINGERS IN IT!

Perhaps he meant valve seals. A leaking valve seal will as you know do just that. Admit oil to the intake or exhaust that is. And a bad seal will not hurt compression. But the runny oil sure sounds like rings.
Well new seals valves and rings will probably run a wapping $15

So to be clear..... the clutch bell moves independent of the rear wheel? If that is what is going on your going to need to open up the gearbox. Something has happened in your gearbox your going to want a rebuild kit
