Or you can use the red silicone put a nice bead on it let it set a few min install it let it set for a couple hours and wala a new one

Best thing is to take the airbox off and off of the carb and buy the one scrappydog has its the filter with a jet of your choice Im jetting the filter and an # jet it comes as a set and you can pick which jet you want Its in the 50cc performance section about half wat down the page

Mines like the top one and it goes just like the diagram that piece before the needle has a o ring at the top of it and then the needle goes threw the o-ringand it all then goes down threw the diafram

It still has the plastic shroud around the motor right??if not it will make it get hot

So glad for ya I have went through it also I didnt see my son and daughter for almost 10 years it really sucked my exwife hid them for all that time after the divorce I finally found them on face book I was a grandpap and all kinds of stuff

The bad thing about crimp on wire connecters is it wont let all the amperage go threw the wire because all the wire doesnt make contact so it ends up they get hot and loose more amps.
It could be your problem if you can try to move it while the scoot is running might tell you if its not making good contact

The best way to put any wires together or putting ends on is solder it its the only way.
When I worked at the Chrysler dealer if you got caught puting on a crimp connecter you got fired on the spot.
Sloder it then use heat shrink

Im still a little confused about the rollers or sliders..
Im still a litte confused about the heaver ones does it sling it out faster or slower Im needing to have it go out further and slower so I can build up a little rpms then shift I believe it has 7grm ones in it now, I would like to raise the rpms up some before it shifts
Let me know if this is the weigh it goes or not dont want to spend to much on just replace test then replace again
Please help me if you can

DX I just got done messing with mine I had 3 jets and I just drilled them out I got luckey the first one was to big the scoot ran fine to about 25mph and bogged wouldnt pickup the next one was just right the smallest bit i had i cant even read the drill size on it and it worked perfect the scoot has never ran better
