My 3 chains broke while driving the chain didn't make any noise while running high or low rpm. Mine was on the same bbk like I said it has to have the thin head gasket and the jug gasket I removed and used silicone it gave me the clearance needed I've been running it for a year now and no problemno leaks and I run it ala lot here its extremely hot and no problem with it

If its to tight to push down with a screwdriver threw the tensioner hole mine was so tight I could not move it more than 1/4 inch. When I put the metal gasket back on it gave me the slack I needed the only other way is take out the base gasket and use silicone it will give you a little more

If you put it together with the wrong gasket it will break again use a steel gasket if thats what it came with I broke 3 before I found this out after 3 complete teardowns to put a new chain on I was ready to junk it.
If your not sure when you put it back together get the head and cam bolted down and with the tensioner out take a screw driver and see how tight the chain is mine was like a banjo string I could bairly move it I even tryed not useing the tensioner Ithought it would strech some then i would put the tensioner back on and it still broke the only fix was the thin metal gasket

I had the same problem it drove me nuts and if its breaking chains after a BBK its the head gasket if it had a metal gasket you have to put a metal gasket back on it or it tightens the chain to tight and breaks it the differance in the regular gasket and the metal one is enough to tighten the chain to much I even took the tensioner out and the chain is way to tight.
there isnt a better chain to buy for it I tryed everything and I broke 3 before i found out what it was and split the case 3 times to install it

My neighbor has a 2002 jet moto 150 and when he pulles on the brake the starter spins everytime when he sits at a light with the brake on it spins. Any one have this problem yet? dont know quite where to start on this one. Any Ideas?
