if your keeping the 50 bore the best things to do is: 1. open up the stock exhaust I put 2 23/64's holes on bottom of muffler after first baffle plate. it helps a lot with top-end power. almost too much flow! 2. A9 Cam 3. stroker crank 4. 20mm carb If not keeping the 50 bore, I don't suggest this, but: 1. 52mm bore commonly called 110cc. I believe it's a 100-105cc 2. big Vv head or 3 Vv head 3. custom exhaust custom exhaust, meaning the port size is the pipe size with 1/8" bigger tip then the pipe itself. any pipe that is bigger than the port itself will rob you power! 4. CDI 5. oil cooler and catch can for the air cooled And, of course, re-gear the gearbox bigger variator rollers/sliders springs main and clutch use led lights head/turn/brake, this helps also. preventive maintenance! ride safe! Darren . Now that's about the craziest thing I've read lately. Stoker crank, a9 cam and 20mm carb on a stock 39mm piston? That's a huge waist of money and time.

Now that is the deal of all deals for scoot people. I've had a couple given to me but they were mostly junk and I just stripped them down for parts. Sold a few parts on CL but I'm keeping one of the motors to build for a spare at some point.

i would like a big valve head to go with my bbk and A9 cam but i dont wanna spend 100 some dollars on a head for a chinease scooter that i only have 600 in and i dont know where to find a good one for a descent price, i seen one on ebay for 35 bucks but iv heard not to get them so idk. i think its worth a shot? The eBay heads from what I've been told work good but don't last as long because it's built cheap. That's why I haven't bought one. If my son wants to build one this summer I'll get him the cheap eBay stuff because he will just dog it out and more then likey drop it a few times.

Scrappy or hoca would be the best choice if you have To have a head now. I would stay away from the eBay heads. If you're wanting to get the top cruising speed up you could also do a gear change. I did a fast read and didn't see you mention that yet.

does anyone know when and where the cheapest airsal kits are and when they will be on sale again? i bought one last summer and was a great investment, now i wish i wouldve got 2 or 3 more because it was like 50 bucks at the time, and now i cant find them for less than 100! thanks all! More then likey you will not see another airsal bbk for $50. $100 still isn't bad. I have seen some asking $149 for them. I've notice the price of quality big vavle heads has gone up over the last month also.

Walt doesn't own scooter elements anymore. He will be opening a new shop at some point in Jacksonville Florida after his move.

Hoca also has a good head. You can find one on amazon for about $100.
