I have a friend that is looking at a Konced 150cc scooter year 2008. It needs a new battery, and a rear tire. That is all she could tell me aboyt it. She is going to go look at it tomorrow 5/4/14. Any advice you can through at me would be help full.. Right now my advice to her would be stay away.

If they can't jump it off for her or kick start it then walk away.

Agreed dont buy non running scoots unless you are looking for Parts bikes

I respectfully disagree. You can find gems that don't start just due to a single bad part or adjustment. If you do not work on scooters yourself, I would agree it may not be a smart purchase, however if you are mechanically inclined, you can get a great deal on a non-starting scooter!
