Great work. I have been keeping up with your other thread also. I'm guessing you have a lot more power on take off and hills but how much if any did you get on the top end?

The rubber piece like and the vac line that runs to the intake manifold. if it isn't in it's clip it can get caught up and hold your throttle open. It happen to me once after doing carb work but I will lucky enough to hit the kill switch. Take your seat and bucket out and turn the throttle (while not running) and you may see what it's hanging up on.

Again, this is why myself and others have stated that you should call before ordering. They have always been really nice about letting me know if what i was looking for was in stock before placing a order. I have a part ordered that is being shipped but because I called first I knew I would have to wait. I do this with anything I order and it doesn't matter who its from. I've been very happy with Scrappy.

It could also be your CDI. I have one i use as a spare and it starts up my scooters fine but top end only get about 23mph with it. With my good CDIs I get about 33-34mph on a scoot scooter. It's also the one i put on the scooter when I let my kids ride around in the neighborhood.

Just saw this drunk kid wipe out on a scooter. Hung around until the fire dept and police got there. You could smell the booze on this kid. He was complaining about his head and ribs. I hope he's going to be ok. Attachments:

Nobody wears a helmet here. Just some advice. Rent from California Cycle. They keep up the rental scooters pretty good. I would also rent a 2T if I were going to rent. Just a heads up from a local, as long as you don't drive crazy you won't have any issues with the police here. I have seen a few scooters pulled over over the last few days from people driving stupid. Enjoy your time in PCB.
