Post a link to the replacement carb . . typical constant velocity carbs do not have a manual choke, just an electric enricher?

Was an electric fuel pump installed because this scooter has a floorboard level gas tank?

Is there a wiring diagram in the owners manual that shows a resistor in the circuit?

Are you not troubleshooting voltage continuity with a multi-meter?

Pretty much of a slacker "just read my mind" query . . since you have not even disclosed scooter year, brand, model?

You will regret the 50cc speed limitations, and will be researching big-bore-kits for the 139QMB engine! Peace Sport 50 . . .

Save yourself a LOT of aggravation and reconsider getting a motorcycle endorsement, and selecting at least a 125cc.
