Even less reliability . . and enhanced odds of crankshaft bearing failure.

In the context of weight distribution abuse, have you experienced any issues with your Lance/Sym 125. What engine and rear gearbox oils are you using? Are you monitoring cylinder head temperature? Any engine modifications (carb jets, variator weights)? I have read that this engine has roller rocker arms.

"We found out that the starter itself had been bad so we put so grease in it and it will work a quick fix but it really needed a new bearing. Since it has undergone so much damage now we probably will just replace the starter motor for the next ride. We didnt think it was the starter before since we pulled it out and tried it and didnt make any noise. So we replaced the starter clutch instead which didnt fix the problem." . . source

Yet another chronicle about desecrating an excellent Znen 139QMB into a pile of excrement!
For others considering purchasing their first scooter . . instead of "gaming the system", if 30-35 mph is not suitable for your performance expectations, save yourself a lot of expense and aggravation by initially selecting at least a 125cc.

Hard to believe for a stock TaoTao ATM50-A1 2013, GY6 139QMB 50cc engine! If you end up removing the head, please post the piston diameter.
Although generally considered bottom-tier, the relatively cheap TaoTao ATM50-A1 is probably at the top of USA annual-units-sold list.

While on the center stand with the engine off, have you secured the clutch bell while turning the rear wheel to troubleshoot a rear gearbox issue?
Was the replacement belt a 669-18-30?
Any chance the variator plate was improperly installed?

Include Delo 15W-40 which has a little more zinc and boron (slick stuff) in your research.
One tablespoon (1/2 ounce) of Lucas Fuel Treatment per gallon of gas should be adequate . . mostly provides supplemental top cylinder lubrication.
Since cold fuel does not atomize well, might also consider an enricher switch to maintain a richer mixture until engine heat warms up the gas in the carb fuel bowl.

Verify the head has the proper length valves . . then check for a timing issue by inserting a probe into the sparkplug hole to sense when the piston is at top-dead-center, and observe if flywheel and cam sprocket marks are properly aligned. Also check if compression changes after squirting a little oil into the sparkplug hole while the throttle is wide open.

Have you tried mixing the 2-stroke oil with the gas in the tank . . as compared to only using the "always suspect" oil injection system with dedicated 2-stroke oil tank?
What is a spark plug read indicating?
Are the carb jets clear?
Are the reeds in good shape?
