i think most have cast iron kits, i have had both right now i am running am airsal aluminum kit over a thousand miles on it and still running good i put a bigger carb on 19mm and 100 main jet with open air filter and leo vince zx pipe, the cast iron kit was good too top end on the cast iron was a little less and a little slower than to get there and the finish on the airsal kit was nicer than the cast iron, i got the kit from racing planet usa, for $147, but it looks like they are out of stock right now they have them here for $179 www.provoscooter.com/scooters/airsal-t6-cylinder-minarelli-horizontal-12mm.html

I've ridden a couple of 2 stroke scooters with the big bore kits and felt they didn't have any more punch than my 50cc 2 stroke. What I'm trying to get is quick acceleration up to a true 45 mph and be able to get up hills without losing to much speed. I thought maybe I can obtain this easier with a 150cc 4 stroke or do you think it can be done with the wright big bore kit on my 2 stroke? they probably didn't have them set up right, with bbk 45 shouldn't be a problem with most bbk kits if you are just looking for 45 and power uphill than most should give you that with a good expansion chamber and up-jet on the carburetor

i think it could be as fast as one if set up correctly, mine has a top speed of 53-54 mph but will not get there as fast as a 150cc not as much torque as a 150, but if set up with racing parts i think it could be as fast as one, with racing cylinder and crankshaft, bigger carburetor right exhaust and new intake and reeds new variator and clutch and maybe new final drive gears, there are setups out there that can produce almost 20hp that is more than 150cc but you would definitely be rebuilding it quite often

never had a problem riding at night hardly ever use the high beams unless the road is really pitch black, you should be fine with it newer bulbs themselves may stop the dim yellow problem also cleaning the lens too

they guy on the bike bike cut the suv off and slammed his breaks on and got hit by the suv, the suv stopped after he hit him and was attacked by a group of the riders they had been harassing other vehicles and him, when they attacked his vehicle that is when he plowed through the bikes and tried to get away and was finally chased down and beaten, the biker he hit had got a broken leg from being hit, they are also linking the group to another ride like this where they were harassing drivers last year , cover their plates so not to be caught and riding dirt bikes and quads, all they did was to give other riders a bad name, every time someone sees someone on a bike they will be thinking that person is a thug and going to act like them just another loss for everyone that rides

heat would definitely do it, i have heard of acetone softening it, if an impact wrench is not doing it sounds like they may have cross threaded it when assembled, i have never had an issue removing mine with my impact wrench and it is a pretty cheap one, i would think even with an impact wrench loctite would break free

well checked everything out and stator and ground checks out got new regulator hooked it up and blew lights, tried the original regulator other than to many volts at the battery it does not blow the lights, could it be that the regulators i got do not match up to the wires or are there that many crappy regulators out there, i went for what i thought was a better regulator and still not working

i replaced my regulator last weekend and put in a new battery and was working good now the regulator is bad again worse than before before it over charged my battery now it is blowing all the lights what would cause it to go bad this quickly, not sure if this would have anything to do with it on monday i was out on it and scooter started to run terrible and pulled over and it stalled out, turned out to be loose spark plug cap,put it back on tight and started right up,i don't think that would have cooked it, when it was working good it was charging good at idle 13 volts little over 14 while revved up so it seems like the stator is working good, could it have just been a defective part?
