i am more impressed that it was doing 60+mph never mind the tire pressure, i have never owned a 50 that has gone that fast, i am surprised the cvt or crank didn't explode had to be pushing close to 10,000 to 12,000 rpm's

Very nice!!! One of the stickers said 50, so I'm guessing a 50cc. Why not a 150cc? And what brand, mileage, and price? roughhouse 50 brand new only 1 mile when i picked it up was $1999 knew the guy at the dealer so he knocked $400 off and didn't charge me delivery charge just tax so was $1703 out the door, did not go with 150 need motorcycle license and no need to insure.

Could be that. You know the trick about marking the tire and turning one revolution and counting how many times the clutch turns to get the ratio. yes i do going to try it and see

When you changed the pipe did you up-jet the carb? You will also need to increase air flow. That might be all you need to do. i have recently up jetted but still no change, tried open air filter from my other scooter didn't change anything i am beginning to think it may be the gearing isn't allowing me to go any faster

over the winter i picked up a eton beamer R2 the green wires on the cdi have been clipped already, was trying to get a little bit more top end out of it currently it tops out around 38 mph, 35 mph before all changes, was trying to get around 42-43 so far i have changed the weights and got rid of flat spot in acceleration, i put on a new exhaust leo vince zx, and just recently bought new hoca variator hoping that would help, the acceleration is good, idles good just have trouble braking the 40 mph mark, down hill it will and sometimes on long flat it can hit 40, not looking to put a big bore kit in, i have my other scooter that has one and this one i wanted to leave at 49cc for back up, just looking to get a little more top end out this one i feel it should be able to do more than 40 my keeway when it was stock ran around 43-44, looking for any suggestions maybe something i am over looking thanks

I think the belt marked TONGBU was just a really crappy cut belt. Did you notify scrappy dog scooters? I think they should be informed that those are defective belts. i didn't thought it would be a waist of time, not sure if they are defective i think they are just crap materials used and don't hold up even for a few miles they polini looked good and has aramid cording

My 2T uses the 788 belts since its a longcase . Yes if there is something wrong with your CVT a new belt can shred up very fast . A buddy bought a QJ instead of getting the Gates or Bando ( he did not have the extra money at the time ) and it only lasted a few days . He was mad and took it back to get a refund but was denied . He later bought a Gates belt and paid my dealer to install and the cause was his variator was bad and also needed to be replaced . With new variator and Gates belt he has been riding since this spring . Mine came with a 788 something that I could not find the exact matching numbers but I got the 788 Bando from Scrappys and it fit just fine not any problem with the cvt it just shreds cheap belts if i use the stock belt no issues, i have tried the 788 bando and gates but they are not the right size and end up losing bottom and to end but they don't shred

I got that size belt from scrappy dog and it shred in under two miles.(tongbu) was the name on the belt. They told me the belt was not defective but something was wrong with my cvt. Got belt from John at scooters plus and it's been fine about 400 miles so far. It wasn't mitsuboshi name on stock belt. I think it was Quinjang or some thing to that effect but it looks beefy like the stock belt. If you try that size belt from racing planet usa let me know how it works out for you? same thing happened to me couple mile and it shredded, i an going to try it out i will let you know how it works out
