Should ask him by PM I hate to butt in, but I think Alleys trike is a 2010 150cc modded to the max. Can top out at over 60mph. He really must have done some real nice engine work to ge that speed outa it. I'm butting back out now

At some point/age, function takes presentence over form. My girlfriends son hates the trunk on my trike, (it doesn't look kool) but, it sure comes in handy. Besides, the whole bike is a chick magnet.

[replyingto=crawdad]crawdad[/replyingto]Dang Verne I do that on a Sat afternoon with no where to go. Like they say, it can take 3 hours and 50 miles to go to the 7-11 to get milk and bread if ya ride a bike/scoot.
But, that rain, when I lived in England, the sky was always gray, and a nice day was so rare and far between.
Maybe ya can get that Hacienda back...

Verne Yea, My rear trunk rattles somewhat, and where the rear deck/fenders fits up against the rear section of the scooter body, seems to rub a bit, as I can see where the paint is slightly rubbing off. But, if I know what it is, and it ain't life threatening, and I can 'fix' it, I'll deal with it. Or, turn the radio up a little higher, or, take my hearing aids out.
Main thing is you're riding. That's gotta be worth something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also lost a bolt holding the front body kit panel on. Nothing really dramatic, easy fix, but, the fuggin thing vibrated right off. The suspension is very unforgiving on some of these roads.
Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

yesterday i've decided to adjust valves on my Big Ruckus clone. i have 5K miles on it and never done valves adjustment. what i found - intake valve was 0.006" and exhaust - no gap at all. set both at 0.004". result is unbelievable. scooter starts, works and idles like a charm. also problem with choke gone away. also replaced fork oil which was really bad. ready for a pleasant ride tomorrow. I want to know more about the dependability, issues with your Rowdy. I am seriously thinking of getting one, to practice / relearn how to ride on 2 wheels again. I know, only 150, but I just like the damn thing. And if ya got some more pics, Id appreciate em davec497@yahoo.com I've seen em listed as the rowdy king kong and the Astro. They appear to be all the same, but i think the astro is of lesser quality Enlighten me Thanx Dave

Besides length, is there a performance difference, between 64mm & 69mm valves ?? You are so lucky I recognize this as a PG rated forum Performance difference due to length?
