I didn't know they made a Big Ruckus clone. And it's made by ZNEN???
Just not sure I'll be satisfied with a 150 (vs a 250)
But, very nice tho

Yep I have ridden a few GoldWing trikes and three wheels at 110 get weird. Though the scariest was one of the 1st generation Honda ATC's. No one in the shop would test ride it after the repairs so I got to. I will never ride one again... I'll stick to 2 wheels, thanks. Not too sure how you can compare the original 3 wheel ATC and a Goldwing trike. And, I got scared as heck at 105 on the 2 wheel Goldwing, let alone 110. That just ain't smart, and , again, I don't see how you can compare going 110 on a trike to 'all trikes suck' kinda mentality. And, some of us have no choice but to ride a trike or nothing at all. I have a little disability that prevents me from riding 2 wheels any more. My trike does what my leg can't. Shally Did we answer your questions? Got kinda sidetracked. Either way, post more of what you learn, like, dislike. Thanx Dave

Trikes are an inherently unstable design. Expect squirrelly handling I have never ridden one that wasn't a little scary. Wuss

[replyingto=shally]shally[/replyingto]I find the trike a little less forgiving on rough roads. May be the smaller front tire and the really wide rear tires. Of course, there is no valid comparison between a bike/ scooter and a trike. I just enjoy riding it, ignoring any differences between it and the Goldwing, and accept it for what it is Diff grease, I used some stuff I had, but others like this 'purple ?" stuff. I couldn't find any in the small tubes for the small grease gun, so just used what grease came with the small grease gun. Works so far. Again, to avoid front end shimmy on takeoff, take off faster. And remember, the rear wheels stick out further than you're used to. Meaning, when you pull up (parallel) to a curb, your rear tire may hit before you realize it My trunk also seems to rattle a bit. But if I know what it is, I can deal with it. I'd take it off, but I use it for my helmet, milk, bread, mail, and, not all that concerned about aesthetics. I need a trike cause I have a stability problem. So, it does what I want it to do: It keeps my knee in the wind, and an xtra $25K in my pocket.

1. I had the slight shimmy also. a little faster takeoff and there is none
2. No manual, just Jim But there is a pdf file here for the yamaha 250 (same engine)
Enjoy the trike
I assume you changed all the fluids. Chinese engine/rear gear oil is like cooking oil. If not, do it now, and grease the rear diff

I'm biased, but I'd go with Jim at RapidRepair. Jim is a retired Military Veteran who gave 20 years of his life to the Air Force, and carries with him the same feeling of pride and ownership he did while he was active duty. After initial contact, by his personal cell fone, he called me on a regular basis to keep me informed of the order, arrival, paperwork, etc. Yea, his prices may be a little higher than the no brick and mortar stores, (he has his own scooter shop) but, I know if I need a widget, all I gotta do is call him and he'll find one for me. As with most Chinese scooters, YOU will have to do most the maint. Welcome and good luck on your choice of scoot. I saw the Rapid Repair banner here on this site and checked them out. you are right, their prices are a little higher. Remembering of course that Jims prices include shipping. And he cares about his customers (I'm a HUGE fan of Customer Service) And he has a personal sayso on the goings on at the distributorship in Ontario Calif. Or, you can go with the unknown shadow sitting in his basement taking your money and can't even friggin ride a scooter.
