ya know, putting the weight forward and low like that is the best place to put weight, so good idea, even though aerodymics might suffer, if it went fast enough. btw, it's 'got an idea in my head', not, 'got an ideal in my head' ?

I've seen those little small frame 'sunny' style scooters with 50cc four strokes in them with 2 big 'ol whales on them. Like a 350lb dude with a 300lb woman on the back holding bags of groceries. suspension was totally bottomed out and the tire looked like a donut a dog sat on it was so flats. had a line of cars behind them and seemed oblivious that they should get on the shoulder or something. I think chassis rating is critical and I can't believe that little things didn't squash flat

I have been curious how john "tests" all his products. Maybe a cdi or coil, but how do you 'test' a variator, or a piston and cylinders? Install it and run it? doesn't that make it used? and if so, aren't all used parts therefore tested?

I've had two similar experiences. Once, a squirrel ran across the road in front of this car in front of me. He SLAMMED on his brakes to not hit the squirrel. My life wasn't a considerations. Had another one where a dog ran out in the road. Guy in the other lane came into my lane head on to avoid the dog. I went in the ditch. good thing the dog and squirrel both escaped unharmed. I know alot of people that have more regard for animals that human beings. I grew up on a farm, and love my cat to death, but they are animals!

use the cheaper rollers to find the optimum weight for your style of riding and setup, then purchase the better sliders

why not use a long case? you can put any size wheel on a long case. Besides, doesn't scrappy have short case 150's too? Cato

They don't have a glamorous showroom, and yes they do spam craigslist, but they have treated my family right on four scooter purchases over two years. They also gave you a good recommendation in scrappy's. I'll take a grungy good deal over a glossy showroom anyday! oh sorry, didn't mean to imply anything about a2z. My comment wasn't about the lack of showroom or anything, but was about the way the salesperson talked and did business seemed shady to me, but that may have just been me and what I had heard from others. I think they are just fine and I'm glad they gave me a referral. I had just heard from someone else that bought from them that they were happy and friendly, until something went wrong and they had to bring it back, then the trouble started. anyways, sorry to butt in here or make what may have sounded like a negative remark!

I got one of these lithium batteries as I just have to have the latest and greatest. they are the bomb! I can't believe they can sell something like this for so cheap! I had to call them first just to make sure they were actually going to send a lithium and it wasn't a typo or mistake

when I visited a2z when I was in vegas they seemed pretty shady, and they post incessantly on craigslist. I didn't buy a scooter from them, but was looking for parts. they did refer me to Scrappy Dog Scooters because they aren't that much into parts and just want to push complete bikes. Scrappy was a good find. wish they would advertise as I wouldn't have found them if it wasn't for the referral from a2z, but then again, there isn't any room left on craigslist as a2z has taken up all the space!

been thinking about an older 250 scoot myself, but they seem really heavy and I'd feel bad about parking next to the front door at the supermarket, whereas my little 50 is pretty much a bicycle size

honestly, I joined this forum because I saw a negative review by some idiot on google plus about scrappydogscooters. it's was totally bogus and obvious. I responded to it, and also joined this forum. I originally liked scrappy because yes, they did make a mistake on an original order I made (so I thought), but they made it right...no questions asked. turned out, I had made the mistake, and I ended up with two mistakes. they have been around long enough to know there are scammers out there that take advantage of honest to goodness companies like scrappy, but they still take care of their customers, and keep awesome prices and variety also!
