For anyone in or around Las Vegas, I want to give a good review to A2Z Motorsports / Scooter Nation! My family has now purchased three scooters from them, and each time it has been a great experience, and a good deal! Last year my nephew bought a MD50QT-5 from them, and I purchased my Znen Q 50. We each got deals of several hundred off their list prices at the time, with little to no haggling (told them how much we had, they showed us the options they could work out). They even threw in Keihin carb upgrades on both scooters at no extra charge. Though I wrench on my rides, my nephew doesn't and took his scooter in for regular maintenance at reasonable rates, which kept everything under their warranty terms, which they do honor! They are the only dealer in Vegas I know of that will finance a chinese scooter with nothing more than an active checking account for a credit check. They even have a decent BBB rating for a company that deals with chinese problems in a box! Recently, my nephew's scooter was stolen, and thanks to a large xmas bonus I decided to replace it for him. We went back to A2Z Motorsports, told them what happened, and we were lucky they had the exact same model (red instead of blue though). We told the salesman what price we paid the first time, and he initially said no way! We told him he could look up the invoice and see, and instead he called the owner. The owner immediately said he remembered us, and to give us the same price as last time. That's a man who knows the value of return customers! Just to be sure we got a decent deal, I came home and searched the online scooter shippers for the same model. The cheapest I found including shipping was only $70 less than we paid at A2Z, and that cheap price was from an online seller with a lot of questionable reviews (including in these forums). Considering A2Z did the assembly, PDI, and initial tuneup to make sure it was running well, and they are local and stand behind their product, I think we got an amazing deal!

Nice to hear that there still are dealers which care so much for the customers!

Update - My sister will not let my nephew wrench on his new scooter so long as it is under warranty. Last week, he started having a few problems: 1- gas gauge not working, 2- horn not working, 3- electric start not working (screeching), 4- time for first oil change. He called up A2Z and told them what was happening, and that he didn't have any money for repairs or an oil change. They said bring it in, and that the first oil change was free. He took it in, dropped it off, went to have lunch, came back an hour and a half later, and his scooter was all fixed and oil changed at no charge. The starter screeching was due to the variator fan being broken (not sure what could have caused that), the gas gauge because the float was stuck, and the horn had a connector fall off.
So, A2Z not only worked with us through several purchases giving us great prices, they also have stood behind their product with excellent service after the sale. I highly recommend them to everyone I meet in Vegas who is looking into purchasing a scooter!

That's great to hear. That is how you run a good business. For one quart of oil and maybe an hour worth of labor, they possible have 2 or 3 new customers from this board.
At the very least JS will be a returning customer.

I was on the way home today, and ran into my nephew on the side of the road. He was having the starter issues again, and once again I told him it was the starter clutch. He kick started it and told me he would take it down to A2Z right then. He just got back a little while ago, and he was holding a starter clutch with worn gears.
Now is when you would expect the old crooked mechanic, setting you up for an expensive repair. Not with A2Z, they once again honored their warranty and didn't charge him a penny!
Fingers crossed that's the end of the starter issues, but great to know he has a service department he can trust not to rip him off!

Warranty is the key word here, I'm glad to finally see a decent A2Z review.
(Sorry for posting in an older thread)

Bought another scooter from A2Z Motorsports / Scooternation.com today. Once again I got it for less than list price, $200 less! Watched them uncrate and assemble it as we chatted with their mechanics, then followed my nephew home on my scooter as he took his longest ride yet (the shop is across town). A motorcycle cop pulled up beside us at a stop light, and gave us a friendly nod before pulling away, good ride home. These Icebear scooters are made well, and the burgundy color he choose is very nice (the flash messes with the color in pics below, it is a nice medium dark burgundy). Once it hits mileage for the first oil change, we'll throw a 72cc BBK on it so he has better takeoff and hill climbing.

when I visited a2z when I was in vegas they seemed pretty shady, and they post incessantly on craigslist. I didn't buy a scooter from them, but was looking for parts. they did refer me to Scrappy Dog Scooters because they aren't that much into parts and just want to push complete bikes. Scrappy was a good find. wish they would advertise as I wouldn't have found them if it wasn't for the referral from a2z, but then again, there isn't any room left on craigslist as a2z has taken up all the space!

They don't have a glamorous showroom, and yes they do spam craigslist, but they have treated my family right on four scooter purchases over two years. They also gave you a good recommendation in scrappy's. I'll take a grungy good deal over a glossy showroom anyday!

I think as the Chinese push to become "respectable" you'll be seeing more dealer responsiveness to customer needs. Now that India is making high quality machines at competitive prices, and with the Chinese government cracking down on scooters in their major cities, they now must become serious about the export market. (and the overall quality of their products)

My comment wasn't about the lack of showroom or anything, but was about the way the salesperson talked and did business seemed shady to me, but that may have just been me and what I had heard from others. I think they are just fine and I'm glad they gave me a referral. I had just heard from someone else that bought from them that they were happy and friendly, until something went wrong and they had to bring it back, then the trouble started. anyways, sorry to butt in here or make what may have sounded like a negative remark!
