I just ordered a bearing splitter and puller off eBay so I can do the same thing. I tried a 2 jaw puller, but it didn't want to stay on the backside of the gear due to the taper. Still waiting on them to come in bit.ly/19wthtnbit.ly/14yUwgu

This is why I spend $15 extra for new ones. They probably stretched when originally assembled and they couldn't take the retorque. Also what are you using for a TQ wrench? I would try to grab it with vice grips, should come out fairly easy, if not heat around it a little with a torch and try again.

Disagreements are part of life. No need to quit when someone doesn't agree with what you. Pretty immature to leave IMO.
If I didn't already have 1k TQ spring I'd pick this one up.

Ok, it should be very simple. First check to make sure you plug boot has good connection with the wire, cut back a little if you need. Next, the coil on outside of flywheel, check that the little wire is not touching ground anywhere. Usually you can unplug it at the coil. If it isn't grounding out anywhere then check the gap between the flywheel and coil, two business cards is good. If you still don't have spark your coil is probably bad.

It still bugs me that 50 and 150 sections are together.

Is this a riding mower or a push mower? Fwiw coil coil is one of the last things we check when working on a rider, usually it ends up being a safety switch. On a push mower usually the ground wire to kill the motor usually frays, touches a ground and kills spark.

Quoted from their sig on another forum "Please Call to order 515-256-9062 NEW WEBSITE UP WWW.SCOOTERS4LIFE.COM" There site does not have everything have listed, best bet is to call and ask or explain what you want and go from there. Be warned you are not buying eBay junk so don't expect eBay prices.

I don't think they are a member on this site, but Nick at KS Power is extremely smart when it comes to building a GY6! Ordered my cases from them, $130 for bored long cases with bearings! That is the cheapest around by quite a bit.
There customer service is top notch, there products are even better! Check them out for sure!

Sounds like you battery took a dump. Is it holding a charge? What is it reading when you try to start it? You could also take it to an auto parts store and have them load test it. If it was dead for a long period of time sometimes they don't come back.

When I had my plastics painted we just used automotive paint and primer. Scuffed it quickly then sprayed.
Yours looks good!

I have Kenda tires on my scooter. They handle just fine, hold up through the twisties great. Lean my scooter down low through turns without thinking twice.
