Curious why shipping is always faster when items are purchased on eBay vs a store? Not just your store but most places are like this.

Curious why shipping is always faster when items are purchased on eBay vs a store? Not just your store but most places are like this. I dont understand? We ship everything the same way. The way we ship is every morning we go into our paypal account and print shipping labels for every paid order. regardless if its ebay or my website. and then take them to the post office by 3pm so we dont miss the cut off time. Now there have been a few issues we have had where the post office looses a package but usually the customers will inform us and we will take a look at the tracking number and if its true we will ship out a replacement part. Like this week a customer informed us that a fuel filter he ordered has not arrived in a while we checked and it left Puerto Rico but never made it to the USA for some reason. We promptly shipped out another filter to him with upgraded shipping. Also have to remember that we are located in the Caribbean and if you live on the west coast of the United States it can take a bit to get there if it was a slower method of shipping such as anything that weighs less than 13 ounces we ship via First Class, anything over 13 ounces gets shipped USPS Priority, and only the very heavy items such as the CVT Covers get shipped parcel post and that takes up to 3 weeks sometimes less which we fully disclose in the product description both in English and Spanish as seen here in this listing cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=161063809016 |

LOL I still dont understand how it got there so quick because parcel post is so slow to the USA because it goes via Cargo ship and the ship only leaves Puerto Rico when its full. Well at least you got it quickly |

Whenever I buy on eBay that is exactly how it goes. But when I buy via stores it seems a little different, for example paid on monday the 15th, mailing date of the 17th, but accepted on the 18th. Still did make it to Maine by Saturday, which is fast.
