Gear oil I change every season, motor oil every 500 km, only full synthetic, but I ride it like I stole it.

Have you used a torque wrench to tighten your bolts?

What size of a carb have you got right now?
Upgrading to a better carb. You probably wont see a big difference from just the carb unless up upgrade to a little bit bigger carb. But with a quality carb, you'll have less gremlins in your engine.
And remember, there is such a thing as too big of a carb.

Unscrew the cap plug from the coil, cut 1/4 inch of the wire then screw the cap plug back.

Twice the hand washing. If you dont wan to bother with having your cylinder honed just do both at the same time. You will save up on soap and as a bonus, your teeth drying grin will be even bigger when you take it for its first spin.

The solenoid went bad again... I did some research to try and find out why it would fail twice in such a short period of time but couldn't find anything. Any suggestions? The brand new solenoid only lasted about 1 week. Dont let Murphy mess around with your ride.
Its common for a batch of part to have bad ones in it. Thankfully a selenoid aint to expensive. If you can, swap it back for a good one where you bought it.

I've read a few horror stories about people who bought scooters online. You will be shipped the exact same crate that the seller received. This means no visual inspection, no final assembly and no PDI. I would not buy anything online eccept in the case where i would know EXACTLY what i would be getting.

What if I upgrade the motor to a 150cc? Do I need to bore the engine so the cylinder can fit? katastroff ksaun123 No need to bore. Both case have 76mm stud spacing. 125cc are in some way a 150cc with a small top end so a "stock" 150cc top end will be a 125cc "bbk. Now get on it and post us your speeding tickets.

1-(Not trying to push any parts dealer, but scrappy had the info on their site. Beside, i think they have a good reputation and have way more credibility then a newbie member with less then 25 posts. )
2-(No kitten were hurt while searching for these infos.)

That's awesome! I always wanted to see someone do a swap where they put a 150cc on a 50cc. Anyhow, I look forward to seeing your project in action! I posted a picture of the frame mods i made for the 50/150 swap here:
