I think its best to look for seperated diagrams of every circuit. (Lighting, starter, ignition).
If you Google it, you'll have tons of results and can choose one you understand from there.

This is how mine is set up: The fuel pump sits on the frame, about the same height as the carb. All of my hoses are as short as possible with a bit of play so I can work on them. The gas tank sits below.
It goes like this: Tank/filter/pump/carb.
I also got a 2 vacuum port intake: 1 on the pump, the other on the carb.
2 vacuum port intake
Never had any issues running like this. Took a long road trip this summer and burned about 8 tank of gas in 3 days. I was riding at WOT most of the time and never had to let go of the throttle because of an empty bowl.
Sometime we cant see the forest because the trees are blocking the view.

Having a carb that's too big is like trying to pick your nose with your thumb.
When running at WOT you have less vacuum then when running on iddle. This will make:
1-tunning your carb a real pain.
2-Unless you have a top mounted gas tank, i dont think any and vacuum pump will be able to cope with it.
Just my 2cents.

I just go to a pet shop snd get air hose for fish tanks works good.sounds bad but my scoot thats like 12 years old is still running on theam. I wouldn't do that, your carb will end up clogged up with fish scales.

Why did i get a scooter? I have no idea.
What i do know is that im badly addicted to them little buggers. I dont know what i love the most: sitting on it and ride, or getting dirty fiddling with it?
Only thing i know: I just love mine.

I got a message from a member asking about this pump.
If you have a floor mounted gas tank and having issues with your stock pump (carburetor bowl gets empty on long stretch at WOT), get one of these.
Mikuni fuel pump
Not only did it do a great job on my 50cc engine, its does the same great job on my 150cc engine too, and I ride that thing like I stole it. I went on a small 3 days 1000 km ride this summer. Did some really long stretch at WOT and never had to let go of the throttle because the pump did not keep my carb's bowl full.
Stay away from THESE and THESE if you have a bottom mounted tank, the first one is of a more petcock valve then a pump, the second one is very unreliable. I had 3 that broke down on me in the first summer I had my scooter and neither of them 3 manage to keep my carburetor bowl full.
Unless you go all out with an electric pump system, its the best $25-$30 you can spend on your ride.
