Try lighter weights in slider form instead of rollers . Unbalanced tires will bounce and shimmy

I had a TaoTao ATM that I cracked the original piston and blew it up the second time . I was a secret 63 cc . I had a meltdown as NONE of my 30 or sop toys ever had a piston problem , and I was a teen and drove em like I stole em . I had just joined SD.com and was suggested the Air Sal kit by a member . Weeeeeeell I went to my dealer and told him I did not want another PO crap kit and asked about the Air Sal . The scooter gods were smiling on me as he just got in two kits . I paid 78 dollars wholesale as he showed me the invoice since it was the 3rd build within 2 and 1/2 months and under warranty . I looked at it and instantly I could fell the craftsmanship and material superiority of crappy China pot metal like before . The kit reuses the stock 40mm or 49cc head , so you may need an extra base gasket and hope your timing chain is long enough . I had already went from 8 gram to 5 gram rollers , had 8x MJ with the 63 and tried a , 92 and ended up with a MJ . I was a beast out of the hole , uphill was increased , top end about the same maybe a 5MPh or less gain , but I got there faster and was easier to maintain speed . When I had barely 50 miles on it a guy at a redlight came up behind me on a Peace 150 and said " When the light turns green I will show you what areal scooter will do " . Well me being a : street racer " I accepted his challenge . The next redlight was half a mile away uphill . Light turned green I pushed off with my feet and smoked him until around 80% of the way and he barely crept past me . I weigh 200lbs and he could have only been 120lbs wet . I bought my Echarm and decided to sell my lil hot rod to a friend of a friend who blew up his scooter and just had a baby . My dealer said to ask 800 as he would charge a 1,000 + with the AirSal kit if new . I told him I wanted 700 to help him out . He took it for a test ride and had cash in hand before he came to a stop . I settled for 600 as that left him with 24 dollars . Over a year later , around 3 months ago I ran into the guy at a gas station and he was still riding it . He only had to replace the belt , headlight and rear tire since buying it from me . I would buy everyone they have as they retail 149 . Would like to hear how it does with a 50mm head . I had stock exhaust and airbox with 3 3/8 holes drilled in it

Depends on tire size , frame and suspension . My Echarm is a 150 with 16s and says weight limit is 350 but I have had 400 ( 2 x 200 ) with no issues . My old TaoTao with 10s had a weight limit of 220 lbs as I have seen many sag with the wimpy stock shock . My Echarm has dual shocks and never has bottomed out unlike a buddies Gator 150 that would with me and him on it with a single rear shock .
I would see what shock(s) you have in the rear and see if you can find a nitrogen filled one instead of oil . My scooter dealer has some custom made for his personal scooter for 300

Some may be restricted to a moped if their driving license is suspended and they are so slow restricted as one needs to tweak it in order to avoid getting ran over on the 4T 50s

It is so much fun to make it go faster than when stock . I get a laugh out of passing cars and 150s while riding my 2T

Wow that is 100+ less than anywhere else ! It does say it comes with a head too . This kit is designed to use the 40mm or 49cc head . I blew up my TaoTao twice and put this in wow so much better . I sold it over a year ago and 2 months ago I saw the guy at a gas station and its still going strong

Always fill it up and park on the CS . On the CS it is level rather than leaning and much safer when parked as it is so easy to tip over and break mirrors and blinkers .
My 2T only holds 4 liters and I got a laugh when I filled it up for 2.50 on a 1/4 tank . Mine was decent stock on MPG but with a BBK , a pipe and able to rev much higher than the 49cc did it is a Pac Man on gas but fun to zoom while sounding like an angry bee

If it is screaming on top end then maybe heavier weights will help otherwise lighter rollers can get the RPMs up .
Check your belt as some come with a generic belt that stretch , wear out and break faster than a Gates or Bando brand of belt . The belt not only wears out from rotation but the variator weights push it out in order to have " gears " thus making it not last as long as an accessory belt does on a car .
With exhaust leak your running lean and risk damage to the engine . Have the valves been adjusted or at least checked ?

Voltage regulator may be bad . AC lights brighten and dim with RPMs and most tail lights are 5 watts as brake lights are 25 watts . I replaced the rear 1157 bulb with an 1157 LED which uses less power and requires no mods simply insert like a bulb and my twin headlights were a hair brighter .
My other scooter is an Echarm with DC lights that stay the same regardless of RPMs and pretty bright to only be 35 watts . My Magnum has twin 35 watt bulbs and I can see great with them . My old TaoTao was barely above a candle and was very limited to to what I could see at night .
Make sure the battery is charged like with a trickle charger so that the stator can deliver as much power to the headlight(s) rather charge a weak battery , Make sure headlight lens is clean and streak free .
Some have an 8 pole stator , some 11 and my Echarm has 12 poles . More poles more output , Many have upgraded to and 11 pole stator . Check the bulb wattage as you may be able to go up ten watts but nor more . I read where some tried 55watt bulbs and melted the bulb housing as they are hotter than less wattage bulbs .
Now there is also a HID option but is costly and will take an hour or more to install . For me the blueish white hue glares rather than helps visibility with me bad eyes even more so in the rain at night
I have seen auxiliary cornering lights or LEDs which helped put out more lumens . i had a Harley behind me one night who had auxiliary that were so bright I could have driven with my lights off and could see by using his

Well it being new the engine is tight and will loosen up with miles during the break in . A 49cc is only 3 cubic inches so its doing wonders to hit 40 MPH and will never perform like a motorcycle with larger and multiple cylinders . Teddy is correct a pipe along with a larger main jet can do wonders as the exhaust plays a more important role on a 2T than on a 4T when talking performance . My 2T came with a 19mm TK carb with a 68 MJ I installed a 75 MJ and it was a dark caramel color on my sparkplug which is perfect as I like to be leaning towards running rich as MPG is not that important . Mine came with a standard NGK plug which is good but I installed the iridium as it does not make it go faster but its more reliable as it fires better . I learned about iridiums and premium 2T oil when I was 16 as I used just above weedeater oil and it smoked so much that I left a com trail . A friend told me about iridiums and Bel Ray MC1 synthetic oil and he was right its well worth the extra money . Before I would have to clean the oil off of the plug every 3 months or so as I premixed 32 to 1 on my motorcycles and 50 to 1 on my pedal mopeds . I like to use Maxxima synthetic blend 2T as its injector friendly at first and I later tried Motul 710 full synthetic with ester which is great but 17 a quart instead of 10 . I promise you will notice a diff in premium oil vs weedeater junk I would ONLY use premium gas preferably without ethanol if you can get it . Here is a directory of ethanol free gas stations pure-gas.org/ . I have read where many said no need to use premium . Well 2 years ago I bought a TaoTao ATMa 50 and put in 87 by mistake as I was paying more attention to a pretty lady than what I was doing . Half a darn mile later poof the piston cracked . My dealer makes customers sign a paper to only use premium during the PDI . Luckily they were super cool and rebuilt the engine for free as I had a mental meltdown as I was excited to ride it to my night classes but could not since it had such a compression loss it was no good . I bought a racing CDI which did help on takeoff but no diff in top end or RPM limit of 8,000 . Removed and weighed my rollers and they were 6 grams . I bought some 4 grams like many use but they were too light and it over revved the engine and was 4 MPH slower . I mixed them up to equal 5 grams and it was ok . I bought a Uni vent cover which is smaller than the big red airfilter and installed a mainjet . It was awesome as it had more midrange power . I later bough tthe red Uni but my dealer did not have any jets larger than a nor did any scooter or motorcycle shop in town have them in my size . It had just a lil bog and I decided to test run it around the block . Well it soft seized and I pushed it home . The plug tip melted and piston and cylinder were scarred . I now have a 47mm or 70cc BBK with Uni , a MMG pipe with a 120 MJ and 8 gram Dr Pulley sliders and it hauls . With the 5 grams it was peppy but I could redline uphill and when it hit 9,000 I could easily pop a lil wheelie at 50MPH ( according to the speedo ) but it ate u gas with the RPMs being so high . With 8 grams takeoff is less but I can still hit 9,000 RPMs up a steep hill with a running start , so its obvious I need taller gears . I installed 1.5k clutchs springs to help take off and included a Hoca BB torque spring base which really improved " shifting " as it prevents the torque spring from binding . I also bought a 1.5k torque spring but could not get it to fit with the bb base but even stock I could pass cars uphill in the city . Enjoy it stock with maybe upjet and lighter or heavier weights as results will vary and later on should you desire more power a BBK or even better a power kit will be an improvement

Really I thought PayPal was good at solving disputes . I have read too many Ebay horror stories from those who have bought junky parts . Amazon is super great as I had a bad MP3 player and got my money back without having to return it . I bought Norton Ghost a while back but lost the serial key as its on a tiny paper instead of on the CD sleeve or box . I talke to Symantec and the rude (censored ) said to contact the seller . I asked if there was a way to retrieve the key off of the CD or get a code to submit in order to get my key with no luck . I submitted a report to Amazon with a request to call me . My phone rang 4 seconds later with a robodialer and got to talk to a person within 20 seconds . Much better than me calling and waiting . They sent me a shipping label the next day and a new copy of Ghost 2 days later . I returned my old copy in the box the new one came in and put the shipping sticker they sent on it . I did not have to pay for any shipping as I am a Prime member and most items directly from Amazon have free shipping and Amazon has a huge hub 30 minutes from me . I have gotten most items in 2 days with some next day without paying for speedy shipping . I wish Amazon had more scooter items as they have almost anything one can think of plus more . Greg has a store there but prices are not as cheap as his website has them
