Ebay and Pay Pal DO NOT have your back. I was taken by a guy for $60.00. Items never sent...everyday he said..tomorrow...tomorrow....tomorrow. Tomorrow never came and he stopped replying my and their email. They both tell me there is nothing they can do. So be warned.

One of the reasons I don't buy with ebay anymore!
I ordered 2 items, never arrived, and paypal and ebay did not refund my money. Someone signed for the package, but no way to know who did. So F them! Their loss!

Their loss! Bro..nobody signed for mine though..cause it was NEVER sent. Now..as you know..Ebay has all the info as to when items get shipped and when they arrive. So they already have all the proof they need right?.. I don't blame you for avoiding them..nope..no Sir.. @ Doug...not yet...will be hard to do with a whole string of this > &^%$)($#@ so...I need to cool down first...

Really I thought PayPal was good at solving disputes . I have read too many Ebay horror stories from those who have bought junky parts . Amazon is super great as I had a bad MP3 player and got my money back without having to return it . I bought Norton Ghost a while back but lost the serial key as its on a tiny paper instead of on the CD sleeve or box . I talke to Symantec and the rude (censored ) said to contact the seller . I asked if there was a way to retrieve the key off of the CD or get a code to submit in order to get my key with no luck . I submitted a report to Amazon with a request to call me . My phone rang 4 seconds later with a robodialer and got to talk to a person within 20 seconds . Much better than me calling and waiting . They sent me a shipping label the next day and a new copy of Ghost 2 days later . I returned my old copy in the box the new one came in and put the shipping sticker they sent on it . I did not have to pay for any shipping as I am a Prime member and most items directly from Amazon have free shipping and Amazon has a huge hub 30 minutes from me . I have gotten most items in 2 days with some next day without paying for speedy shipping . I wish Amazon had more scooter items as they have almost anything one can think of plus more . Greg has a store there but prices are not as cheap as his website has them

I left a negative feedback on a seller once, and it was removed, because he won the case. Because someone signed off the package, that whatever drop shipper shipped to the wrong address, they saw that as a proof that my package did arrive (which it did, but not at my home).

'dad, if the seller lives in a different state, you can contact the (I believe) FBI. And if they said they would USPost it, contact them. That's interstate fraud and is frowned on. ***** I got a limited edition Breyer horse (a high-quality plastic model horse) from an eBay seller who had something like 99.99% positive. Ad said both horse and box were in perfect shape. I got it, there was a scratch in the paint on the horse's cheek. But worse the box was moldy! If I had allergies I'd have been in the hospital.
I immediately called the seller and left a message--"I need you to call me, there's a big problem with the Breyer!" Said to call collect if needed. Whatever. Emailed the next day. Nothing from seller. Called again that eve. Called or emailed every day for a week. Then it was I think Easter so waited a week. Called again. Emailed again. Never said what was wrong, just kept saying there's a big problem we need to discuss. No contact.
I finally contacted eBay. They couldn't help, but they sent me to the USPost's site to report fraud. The Post took my story and also had me contact the police (which is what I think was the Feds) 'cause it was interstate fraud.
Next day I got a frantic email from seller--"What's going on? I show the package arrived months ago? What's wrong?" etc. I replied--"Cops knocking at your door? Too late to act concerned now after ignoring me all this time."
I doubt anything more happened 'cause I was never contacted again. But at least that seller got a good scare that maybe straightened his/her act.
All rather silly over an plastic horse costing well less than $100. But I kept pointing out if this person was doing this for such a relatively-minor item, what else was he doing it over?
Keep pursuing it, 'dad. Also, call your bank that issued your Paypal-ed credit card. Report the fraud to them and contest the charge. They can cancel it.
Good luck, hon'!

Your problem was with the shipper and the same thing happened to me twice. Got with the seller and they had used USPS. With my tracking number I called the Post Office and they themselves admitted to the error. Next day my package arrived via special carrier because the Post Office went to the home where they had wrongfully delivered the package and retrieved it. You have a right to challenge a delivery with a shipper and make them prove that they delivered the package to the right address, after all who calls a shipper complaining about not receiving their package if they haven't? Once they see there is a dispute they are bound to investigate, if they have an incorrect signature they are responsible.
After this happened to me the second time I filed a complaint with the Postmaster General on my local postal service, and after a house cleaning at the post office my deliveries are not messed up any more.
As far as Amazon goes, will never ever use them again. Not once but twice my credit card was hacked and it was traced back to Amazon. The last time when my credit card statement came in someone had went to Mexico at my expense and to the tune of over $3500. One also needs to know that when filing a false charge claim on your credit card you have the right to the report of findings that the credit card company finds, again back to Amazon. You can read for yourself the horror stories of Amazon's extremely bad security system and find many people who have had trouble with it. It's been called the hacker's dream.
Both my experiences were when my wife was in nursing school, one cannot beat their price on school books but again for me NEVER again.

The folks denied having it. UNTIL the hubby went to work..and the spouse took it to the Post Office. They did not even know what the stuff was but(Scooter parts) was she afraid of legal action..and she even said..'Over things they did not know what they were..but he insisted if it was sent to him he was keeping it..not his fault it showed up there' Until they explained the law dating from the 1700's..."Tampering with U.S. Mail' and what the sentence could be. Man I sure got that stuff back fast!... ;D But still..jerks anyway.

Good luck, hon'! >'Kat Oh I know Breyer Horses are. My sister breaks Horses for folks and trains them as well. She Bare Back breaks them for folks that ride as my people do....Bare Back..cause Saddles are for sissies and Cowboys..lol. She does break them for Jumping..Barrel Racing and Dressage as well for the rich folk...cause money is money. Anyway she also collects the Breyer Horse Figurines. Some are not cheap. If you are as old as I..remember the 1/4 Horse that came with Barbie Dolls in the 70's..and the Paint Pony that came with Skipper. Try to buy one now...BIG MONEY!! So you could have been out lots! But even so yours was 'only' 100 bucks...BUT that is still your money..just as this tiny 60 bucks is mine. I believe stealing is stealing...no matter what the price. As you say..if a person will steal 60 to 100 bucks..what else will they cheat people out of? JR..my problem was not with the shipper. Item was never shipped. Ebay and Pay Pal know when the item ships and is received...that is how they know when to send you a message asking for feedback. My Buddy knew I was looking for a gear set with that ratio. Being the IT Geek he is for a company...he found another INDENTICAL ad..on another site. Selling the same gears from the same IP in Westminster, Orange County California...marked as 'Sold'. The post was dated 2 weeks before I 'bought' mine. So...note to potential crooks out there..do not use your Home PC ...and normal home or work email address if you plan to rip a person off.

I sold something once and it got lost in the mail and PayPal took the $165 out of my account the next day after the buyer filed a complaint... just last week I bought something and it was not as described and I was awarded $25 of the $375 purchase price back as a partial refund.... PayPal is 98% on the buyer's side. I'm shocked you had trouble with them. Maybe it's different now that eBay owns them.

If the price is reasonably close between ebay and Amazon, I'll go with Amazon. (as Amazon is the much more professional of the two)

i loved ebay's promise to the buyer and then expected a debit card. to maybe reimburse them back, if you wanted. well, no i dont want. then they won't let yous sell. i just needed a quick 100 bucks. so i tried to make an auction, i ahd seen that, i looked it up, they put on their site anytime youwanted it deleted they would delete it. i was like, ok fine i just need money real quick. i was goign to delete it after i was like this is stuipd. first, its an invasion of your privacy. no. and the other thing, lets unsecure my debit. lets see, my pocke,t or ebay on their computer where they dont give a crap about anybody. they get paid.
anyway like 2 days later i was like screw this. it took me 16 hours of being on the phone with them and 4 days of me cussing htem out. and them not saying their was debit card, then id say yea and they would go down the page with it on it, and skip it. as i was looking at it, naming off the colums as it wnet down, cause i said its on this page. then theyd say theyd do it. then not. they didnt want to remove it. theyd like to screw you over out of everything. its not an auction site.
