Well I caught Top Gear again and they were on Piaggios but they did not say what model , but they said they topped at 39 MPH . Was funny to watch them ride a scooter at Sturgis

Most you can not go up a taller rim size but you can get premium tires and often a size wider or two

Every Honda I ever had from moped , motorcycles to cars and lawnmowers loved me as was very reliable .
If you go beyond moped speeds which vary state to state you could get pulled for going too fast . I doubt any cops could tell if you had a BBK but I have read where people got their scoot impounded and the cops sent it to a scooter shop to see if it is 49cc .
A buddy got 1,700 in fines for riding a 150cc with a moped tag , no license or insurance and failing to register it .

Look inside the venturi for a stamping if not measure the venturi with a caliper . When it was a 50 I changed out the 68 MJ to a 75 . I later put on a small Uni vent cover as an airfilter with a 90MJ and it was a lil beast . Got the big red Uni but my dealer nor did any motorcycle shop around have my type of jets larger than a . Well being stubborn and impatient I rode it around the block even though it had a slight bog but not like it was stalling . Well it seized up and even melted the tip off the sparkplug which was the first for me with over 30 years of being on two wheels

I thought only the 50s had the accelerator pump . When you coast you get tranny drag and all 4Ts will have a slight hesitant when you hit the throttle unlike a 2T that coasts . Is it a 150 or 50 as I saw you run 4.5g sliders which is what one would use in a 50 as they would be too light for a 150 . A size larger idle jet may help on takeoff if its lean as it will also sputter if too rich

Well if you have a 17.5mm carb yes as the 2T power kits include a 21mm carb . I have a 19mm TK carb that worked great when it was a 50 and again with a 47mm ( 70cc ) BBK , Uni and pipe with a 120 MJ

Are you using Kevlar belts ? I changed out to Bando Kevlar on both of my scoots and they both had a surging vibration where the Gates and CFMoto ( I was told it was made by Bando ) were smooth . The Echarm it did it for a long time but smoothed out a few thousand miles later . Cheap tires will have that effect as they are not balanced . I had mine balanced and WOW waaay more smoother at highway speeds than before
