Im getting an initial sputter off the line and when I get on it after coasting. Tuning the AF screw wont eliminate it. I saw a video where rolling wrench made some sort of adjustment but it was very vague. When should the plunger depress? as soon as the throttle moves or should there be a delay? Mine is depressing as soon as the throttle moves. Maybe too much gas when butterfly not open enough?

The piece of curved metal that goes over the coiled spring is the "trigger" for the accelerator pump. Try bending it more (in the direction of the curve), then less. Each time you bend it a bit, give your throttle a few twists to see how it performs. Only takes a couple of minutes to dial it in to your needs.

I thought only the 50s had the accelerator pump . When you coast you get tranny drag and all 4Ts will have a slight hesitant when you hit the throttle unlike a 2T that coasts . Is it a 150 or 50 as I saw you run 4.5g sliders which is what one would use in a 50 as they would be too light for a 150 . A size larger idle jet may help on takeoff if its lean as it will also sputter if too rich

Even the fuel injected Ducati do that to meet EPA regs because they run a little lean. Usual cure is to richen or fatten them up. On a fuel injected bike the cure is to install an oxygen sensor attenuator to make them run Fat. The more popular attenuator for the Ducati, Aprilia, MotoGuzzi is called a FatDuc. The funny thing is that running lean to appease the EPA while causing stumbling or lag off the line also causes a 5% to 20% dop in fuel economy during city riding.

You can buy 30mm pumper carbs for 150s that have accelerator pumps its gonna be the next thing I buy and probably the last. He has a 50cc and a smaller pilot jet probably would fix the issue

So no change when adjusting the spring or needle. It does go away if I install my orange CDI?? Why is that?
