So one question I have is if you want more power putout what do you do that also does it matter how many magnets it has This would be best if you started a new thread, the answer is not cut and dry. John

All of the gearing baths in oil.
Geh, your using a fixed advanced cdi and a larger bore. I would lean toward extra compression and early spark. As the cause for premature clutch failure.
Just my .02

I'm no moderator here, I did not and can not do anything a moderator can. If you looked carefully you would have figured out the mod that cleaned things up. I did however did report some of your posts to the mods. That would be the ones demining foul language condescending posts.
Its funny I recently went through the same thing as you on another forum. Then difference is I pm the mod to get answers and did not jump to conclusions. It was presented to me that often that the sharper guys get rocky starts. Perhaps a little more humility in your posts followed by more positive words.
There was a time when it was a slugfest across the forums, a strict hand will keep that in check.
Just for the record when I get calls and I know Scrappydogscooters.com has the parts that I don't I recomend them.

On single phase stators they have a few ohms to ground(green wire). I suggest to do a running voltage test to check a stator. If your unsure how to do this, be sure to tag me or pm me to the thread.
120pis compression is marginal for them to run, squirt two table spoons of oil in the spark plug hole. that will help bring up your compression up. It should run after provided everything else is correct.

so does that mean we won't be seeing you anymore? No response would be a yes.
If you took a moment to read what your posting and how it could be received by others. Perhaps you would see why your posts are being removed. Negative and inflammatory post have no place here and strictly enforced. Your not banned so there is hope if you would like to stay. Your actions will dictate whats happens next.

I would take the cover off and see if the starter gear is turning. From what your telling it seems like you might be correct about the starter clutch.
