How do you guys get rid of your old engines? I'm about done with my main scooter's engine, it has over 40k on it and problems keep popping up every couple weeks and I've probably spent more on replacing parts in it than a new scooter would have cost haha. I'm sure I could get it to keep running but how long until the next problem arises, and the next? Also the cold season is upon us, not trying to break down and push it home in 30 degrees...
I will be rebuilding my spare 50cc engine with a new big bore kit so I have no worry about a new engine, but what should I do with the old engine? Save it for the apocalypse or should I just push it till it explodes and puts me in the hospital? lol

Debunk all this net Bunk and Try to Blow it Up. Wire the Throttle Wide Open and Flat them Valves till they Dump. WFO Make it go so Lean Your Trying to Seize the Piston. Hers my Favorite. Overfill the Oil and WFO and lets see what happens Other than Puke Oil everywhere. Wanna see how good your Oil is, Drain it then WFO and lets see what happens

Hmm, maybe I'll save it and bolt it onto a sled over the winter, maybe see if I can make a gas powered street sled lol... Or maybe use it to make the first scooter engine powered water balloon rail gun, shootin water balloons up to 2 miles, the kids the next town over won't know where they came from ( loljk but could you imagine?)

I like the testing idea. You have tons of questions about various limits, now you have a test kit to find the answers to many of your questions!

You can build a small displacement chair rocker As soon as I saw it I thought it was a joke, then he started it up and the old lady fell apart before the chair! lol I guess that goes to show the importance of riding gear!
