Beautiful scoot. Not so much in love with the color but everything else about it is sweet.

Considering I have been hit twice in my car by a driver who was using a cell phone, I am not sure if you were lit up like a neon sign if they still would not hit you.

Today I finally decided to take a working scooter and take it apart and install Dr. Pulley Sliders in the Variator.
I had noticed lately a slight vibration in the 20 to 30 MPH zone. The variator rollers I pulled out did indeed have some flat spots on them after only 3300KM. I believe the original equipment rollers started out at 14G but not sure. I don't have any kind of precision scale and since these are now flattened I doubt they weight what they once did.
The Doctor Pully sliders I got were 13 gram. The slight vibration is gone. Seems like I am running about 500 RPM's Less with WOT. Top speed seems to be about 3MPH faster with a lower engine rpm. It's hard to tell because today is a very windy day.
I used my new Harbor Freight electric impact wrench to remove the variator nut. It made it almost dead simple. As I tightened the assembly back up I turned the assembly a few times to make sure I didn't bind up the belt.
I did a 5 mile test ride and nothing flew off, broke or otherwise malfunctioned so I say it's ready for daily use again. Will observe it and give further reviews as time permits,

You and I both bought almost identical scooters and from the same dealer.

I think the only vehicle you are remotely safe on the highway is a perhaps a school bus with seat belts for all passengers and even then, you really are not "SAFE".

This is the exact model scooter I have but mine is red. Mine is 2014 model. Already had to have the stator replace and the valves adjusted. I have about 3300Km on her, Got the bike in late February.
Wish you lived in the Dallas area so we could go on a ride together and compare bikes.

Where ever this wire is that keeps burring out. Either you have way too small a wire there, or what ever circuit it is that your running is completely out of kilter. I guess the way to find out if it's just too small a wire is put some 8 gage wire into the circuit. I don't think it could melt through that. if this is a grounding issue I think a 1/2 wide strip of braided wire would do the trick. Make sure the place it's attached is NOT painted or rusty/ corroded. If you put then 8 gage wire in and the stator burns to the ground you know there was a problem there anyway. (assuming the new wire was put in correctly)

Sounds like you got a bad break light switch. It's 'possible' it's just out of adjustment, but my suspicion is you need a new one.

I recognize the contribution that non venomous snakes make, but a copper head snake would most likely not survive a near scooter encounter with me.

I bought some Dr Pulley sliders and some time in the near future I will install and see if there is any truth to the hype.

When my bike did this it was a catastrophic stator failure (it failed mechanically)
