I don't pay sales taxes at all, be it online or at brick & mortar stores. DAMN, I love New Hampshire!

I wanted full-face and either traffic-cone orange or bright yellow.

Just wanted to pass this along: Motorcycle Superstore has a KBC full-face helmet on sale for only $45! (MSRP is $135, least I've seen it for elsewhere is $100.) It's available in black (gloss & matte), "gunmetal" (I'd call it charcoal), and hi-visibility yellow.

It does look like a helmet hanger but alley is right its the battery hold down rubberband Wouldn't surprise me if they use the same piece for both! Just change the label!

Less internal drag. It's not much...but on something like a small scoot (where increases can be in tenths of HP), I can see switching from, say, 20W-50 to 5W-30 being worth some top end.

Did you feel something "give" when you yanked it?

Looks like a vertical motor to me: it seems top stand straight up. (Hence the Helix and clones having no under-seat storage & the fuel tank in the floorboard.)

Bought it! Paid $1000 for it, and the seller provided a contract: if, according to diagnosis by a competent mechanic (rules out the first idiot), she will refund half the purchase price. (Honestly...I suspect I could part it out for $500.) It also has NEW Bridgestone tires (<100 miles), a fresh battery (sealed-top), and when bought (last year), it got a full coolant & brake fluid flush, an oil change (with RP synthetic!), and an air filter.
Also, despite the registration saying it's a 2010, it's actually, per the title, a 2007. (DMV typo, at a guess.)
It DOES run badly & stalls at idle...rather than futz with it, I'm having a local MC shop check it over. The guy's best guess when I described the symptoms is it needs a carb cleanout. (I need to have it inspected, anyway, which they can do.)

Many auto-part stores have it, so do some hardware stores. Personally...I get it at Wal-Mart!
Liquid Wrench is just as good (it seems to be essentially the same stuff).

If the speedo still lights up, the fuse is likely OK...if the rest of the dash lights work, ditto for the ground. (Having said that, checking both couldn't hurt.) I'm adding to the consensus: follow the wire to the speed sensor...either the sensor itself is bad or (more likely) the wire has come loose. I do not know if the sensor has to be grounded, though I suspect someone here does. PS--Nice Cherokee...it looks darn near identical to mine!

Suggestion: try PB Blaster rather than WD-40. It's a far superior lubrcant/penetrant.

I agree...the idle sounds like a vacuum leak. Would this have a vacuum-operated fuel pump? If so...yeah, a leak would also explain the low power. If the current owner cant/wint fix it...well, I think I.found my scoot! There is no way to turn this deal down.
Heck, I could probably part it out for $500.
